Bollywood's Bush Mockumentary (VIDEO)

A trailer is out for Bollywood's forthcoming mockumentary -- "The President Is Coming -- that will poke fun at President Bush, perhaps for the last time before he leaves office.

According to Reuters:

"The President is Coming," set in Mumbai during Bush's trip to India in 2006, tells the fictional tale of six Indians vying for a chance to shake hands with the visiting head of state.

Bush is a running theme in the film and so are 'Bushisms' -- verbal slip-ups in his speeches -- that have gained notoriety during his eight-year presidency.

The exchange between the two characters at the very end shows that director Kunaal Roy Kapur is taking a lighter look at what many in the international community consider a dismal period for American leadership.

But, according to Kapur, it's not all negative.

"Bush is more of a sort of metaphor for the things that America represents -- good or bad -- but he's also used as a bit of a punching bag because he's an easy target."

The last scene in this trailer is priceless! I love Bollywood - I hope the US theaters can get this to show here! Or maybe - on every major movie channel the night of January 19! Priceless!

It's a matter of taste. If the only taste you have is in your mouth, you won't enjoy Bollywood flicks. Many Bollywood flicks are dubbed into English & they beat the hell out of TV reruns, game shows & reality shows. It's a matter of taste the man said as he kissed a cow.

I was in India when Bush visited...at the start of my trip we received the news that Cheney had shot an old man in the face while hunting...then a few weeks later wrapping up the trip in Mumbai Bush was visited India.
THere were huge protests galore, lots of angry ones in Mumbai streets...I kept a low profile. He is truly hated there and managed to offend on numerous occasions.This was probably the downer to an otherwise lovely trip.

Looks very entertaining. I just wish the audio was much better. It's hard to understand.
