Lisa Rinna's Filler Regret: "I Look Like A Freak!"

Lisa Rinna got specific on what she overdid on her face in an interview with momlogic.com. Talking to momlogic to promote her upcoming reality show and her Golden Globes, Rinna said despite a love of Botox, she regrets overfilling her cheeks and that she still enjoys sex with husband Harry Hamlin.

Is there any plastic surgery you regret?
Lisa Rinna: My cheeks. I had Juvederm put in my cheeks. That's what I overdid -- big time. I tried it because my girlfriends did it. I thought: I'll do it! I saw a photo and I was like, "Oh Jesus. That's no good. That's NOT good." What I learned is that I don't really need it. You get older and insecure and you think you need it and you don't. I learned less is more. Keep your skin good. But, I still like Botox. It's great! It doesn't change the shape of my face. When you change your face, you don't look like yourself. Looking fresher is one thing. I look like a freak! I always said I wouldn't change my face, but I did it. I can't not be honest about it. I'd look like a fool. It's so obvious. I don't believe in lying. I used to feel like it was nobody's business. But when this happened, I realized I couldn't hide it.

What's the secret to keeping your marriage hot?
Lisa Rinna: You gotta be willing and you gotta be game. You've got to be able to continue [your sex life] when you are married with kids. You may say, "I'm tired and I've been with the kids all day," but you've got to get creative. You have to figure out how to keep your man happy. We try to go away every couple of months -- get a hotel. Sex is the first thing that goes. I try to make him happy. I don't always want to and other times I really want to. It's fun if you allow yourself to let go.

How unfortunate that poor Ms. Rinna feels so self conscious. It's easy to see how anything that might tend to increase the already massive burden of her self involvement could be disabling. For someone so massively self obsessed, her current self-inflicted predator lagomorphian* look must be particularly onerous.

In the interest of supporting another human being during an especially difficult time, perhaps those of us who have absolutely no idea who Ms. Rinna is might write to her. We should reassure her that her appearance, nay, her very existence, is of absolutely no import to us whatsoever. We must comfort her with the knowledge that we cannot think ill of her cheeks because we are not thinking of her at all.

I think it takes a lot of guts for Lisa Rinna to come out and admit that she had too much work done on her face. I like that she was honest and is perhaps trying to get a new perspective on true beauty for which she should be applauded. People who are taking shots at her after she's already admitted she's made a mistake aren't really getting the point of this post. Jeez! She's fessing up to it! Leave her alone! She's the one who has to live with her face now, and the rest of you all can look away and focus on your own imperfections in this New Year and make yourselves better in some way. I'm sure you all have done something you've felt pressured to do, and then felt stupid about it later.

This is why we rarely see women aging gracefully. If they just let nature take its course, most people wouldn't even realize the aging process was even happening.

Starlets, probably because show biz demands it, plump up their face until they look like a balloon. Then they get to a point where they can't do that anymore, and age catches up with them in a heartbeat. And everyone goes "man, she got old FAST!"

Lisa Rinna seems like a very nice person. She comes across as down to earth, warm and funny. I hope that she can gain some real self-confidence as she grows older, because all of the nipping, tucking and injections in the world is not going to turn back the clock. I am glad for her sake she realized that she was starting to look freakish before she got any more work done. I guarantee she would be a stunning woman in her late 40's, 50's and beyond if she just took care of herself the best she could and accepted the natural aging process.

Why, there is a photo today on PerezHilton.com of Victoria Beckham, and from a side view, she's starting now to actually look like the little village creature people in the movie "How the Grinch Stole Christmas"!

Because they see bimbo #1 and she looks like Barbie so they want to look like that too. Look at Cher's lips. They look like someone just ripped her mouth off. One of life's rules is don't covet thy neighbor.
