MSNBC Reporters Spat: "Let Me Finish"

MSNBC anchor Tamron Hall talked to NBC's John Yang Wednesday afternoon, and the pair laughed while simultaneously trading barbs with each other.

Watching video of Obama and all the former presidents, Hall asked Yang why Carter was off to the side. He started to explain when she cut him off.

"Hang on Tamron. Tamron let me finish," Yang said to her.

Yang went on with his explanation, at the end of which Hall commented, "That still doesn't answer me."

"I'm not sure what you're asking me Tamron," Yang responded through a smile.

Moments later Tamron thanked him and said goodbye, telling Yang, "We agree. Just don't stand too close to me in our next picture..."

If that happened yesterday, then I know why I turned her off. I couldn't believe the junk she was chattering about. What happened to news? As a relief from some of these silly chatty kathys on cable news during the day, I now watch the market news. They hit it all, market, financial and politics-good bedfellows.

Take a few minutes to watch Contessa Brewer on MSNBC during the day if you really want to see someone who asks ridiculous questions and displays constant childish antics. It is beyond embarrassing.

I think Tamron Hall is one of the least disciplined journalist on the air. She constantly steps all over the words of whomever she interviewing and it's very annoying. I wonder why MSNBC keeps giving her so much air time.

I actually think Mika B has her beat by a country mile! I tried to watch Mika when she subbed on 1600 PA program and her questions to the guest were paragraphs of her opinion with only a pause for the guest to respond. I find Tamron refreshing and interesting. This was not a spat but some light-hearted bantering - common among pundits and news program hosts

Without appearing somewhat sexist, maybe that's a technique female anchors use stepping all over someone's comments as a way of making them seem "serious" or "hard hitting?" If it is, I definitely don't like it.

I was wondering if anyone would report this - I couldn't believe her when I was watching her. She wants us to believe she knows what she's talking about when she DOESN'T. I'm glad someone put her in her place. I can only watch so much of her (@2minutes) before I turn the channel!
