Broadcasting & Cable:

The new Alan Colmes-less Hannity premieres Monday with frequent Fox News guest Al Sharpton filling the liberal seat on Sean Hannity's newly christened "Great American Panel."

Rep. Michelle Bachman (R-Minn.) will fill the seat on the right. (And she should have plenty to talk about given the Senate dispute in her state between Al Franken and Norm Coleman.)

Sharpton, Jackson, and all of that bunch are all cohorts of the Bush/Cheney regime. I don't trust them as far as I can throw them. It's all about the money with these guys.

Hannity must be really comfortable with Sharpton. He must believe that Sharpton makes him look good. Fox won't put someone on there who could really spar with Hannity.

There is no love lost between Sharpton and insanity Hannity. It will all be for show purposes only.

Al Sharpton should stick to his 'community 'work and STAY off the Hannity show .By being on Hannity Sharpton does more harm to Americans than a klanner trying to convince people the KKK isn't a racist group! Bachman on the other hand should be removed from her political postion for even showing up on the show !Sharpton is betraying ALL black Americans by being on Hannitys show.

ANYBODY with any self respect should avoid guesting on Hannity's show. The ONLY reason he will be inviting people to "guest" (unless they are conservatives themselves) will be to publicly try to humiliate them and their positions. A COMPLETE set-up so that the next day on his radio program Hannity and his legion of adoring "fans" can make fun of the guests.

Anybody appearing with Hannity will obviously be a media *****, needing the appearance money.

Good luck trying to humiliate the Rev. I listen to his radio show every day that I don't have to work, and he is very quick to fight/bite back when conservatives try to trip him up. He may not come off as being especially quick with a comeback, but you might be surprised. I will watch it the night he is on. I'm betting that Hannity will be the one with egg on his face....not Rev. Al.

Thanks but no thanks. First of all , I do not watch Fox, secondly , Bachman in there gives me no reason to change my mind . Michelle, is as hateful as Coulter, how this person won the election is beyond me. Also, never been a fan of Sharpton, but this man perhaps would make an effort to keep Sean in line, Comb was too mild mannered for that !

It is a mistake for liberals to try to out-obnoxious "conservatives" a la an Olbermann show or a Maddow show. Sincere people with intelligent points of view should talk TO each other in the SAME VENUE without a shout down, which is the current state of debate in all media. We in the real world are depressed by all of this bullshit, and it is ripping the United States apart.

As for the Hannity show, I'm sorry, I don't see Al Sharpton as an eloquent counter to the 20-year onslaught of narrow cartoon "conservatism". It is cartoon vs. cartoon, with editorial hammer control by the right. We are descending, unless we restore Fairness.

I see the restoration of Fairness to the land as akin to the realization of the Magna Carta, which gave restoration to the rights of common men and women to be free, make decisions, and BE.
