I Like ItI Don’t Like It

Steve Ballmer, Microsoft's chief executive officer, has increased the pressure on Yahoo to hand over control of its search business to his software company.

No more conglomerates. No more Enrons. No more monopolies. No more banks on the stock market. No more huge banks.

If Microsoft gets Yahoo! I hope they fix their stupid crawlers. The crawlers just sit there and munch up bandwidth and throw stats out of whack and don't share caches and ........BLAH! I've had to ban them fercryingoutloud!

If he does not get it this time, will he do an updated version of the monkey dance? Monkey dance 2.0?

In Steve Ballmer's own words:
"Developers! Developers! Developers! Developers! Developers! Developers! Developers! Developers!"

Bill Gates may have been a greedy jerk, but at least he had a handle on the technology world. Balmer has all the technology sense of a can of paint. Microsoft, and specifically Balmer believes that buying Yahoo will help its business, but the reality is it won't have much of an impact, and will ultimately just degrade the quality of Yahoo even more.Yahoo is so behind the times that I cant stomach looking at their website, and micro$oft has its head up its arse. Sure, Windows 7 is a step in the right direction, but like I said. Yahoo is insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

Oh and btw, Google will AAAAALLLLWAYS be better than Yahoo.

Sorry, that was meant for the post below.

Windows 7? We haven't transitioned to Vista. I sometimes wonder what makes M$ think we will transition to Windows 7 or 8 or 9? None of the demos I have seen shows anything I need, let alone even a visual effect I haven't seen before (not that I care about visuals). The various wizards they are showing are a nuisance to professional users. I do no have to be walked throw my hardware and software setups, I would much rather prefer to be left alone.

And that, generally, is the problem with MS... they don't want to design products that just work but leave you alone when you don't want unnecessary interaction. Sorry, guys, not buying.

Steves business acumen is unparalleled. Yahoo stock value has fallen by 20%. The buyout is in the right order. Microsoft shall control 80% of global email aacounts. Is this not baiting the Anti-trust authority?. This shall bring them more scrutiny and break them up like standard oil.

I have yahoo email, and i also have 22000 emails I haven't ever read from that account, its all spam.

Ballmer should retire, he could have cost MSFT shareholders and the company 20 Billion in premiums he was offering Yahoo.

If you really want Yahoo, Steve, more power to ya. I'm guessing you've got some secret plan to make it suck less than it does now. Your shareholders know best whether or not you know what you're doing there. Good luck!
