Wednesday's Best Jokes: The Presidents' Lunch, Obama Girls And Sanjay Gupta

Wednesday night the late-night hosts had a field day with the luncheon of all the living presidents. In addition, The Daily Show made fun of media coverage of the Obama daughter's first day at school and Colbert covered the selection of Sanjay Gupta as Surgeon General with his trademark humor, and some penis jokes.

Below are some of the best.

Bush replaced Clinton's rug when he moved into the White House. There was a lot of press--and a lot of late night comic jokes--about it and the reason for it at the time. That's an important bit of context for why Clinton commented on it. Obviously, it was a dig by Bush at the time, just like barring Obama from the Guest residence is a petty dig. Interesting to speculate what Clinton's intention was in making the comment--saying all is forgiven or alluding to how freaking petty Bush is??

The Bush rug is ugly. And it was a dig at Bush. His rug looks like the sun is setting on the presidential seal. Perfect metaphor for the Bush presidency. On the other hand, Clinton's oval office rug was very grand and presidential. Big difference.

But, what isn't amusing are all the other petty, but significant changes Bush made. He took the official DC license plate which stated "No taxation without representation" off the limo and replaced it with USA 1. Well, what is the status of the USA now??? Bush was neither a Statesman nor a man of the People. He was just a creep.
