Angelina Jolie: "I May Work For A Few Months"

SANTA MONICA, Calif. — Angelina Jolie, who has been lying low since the birth of her 5-month-old twins, is thinking about a brief return to film, but very brief.

The "Changeling" star and mother of six _ twins Vivienne and Knox were born last July _ says she'll be in front of the camera early this year. The 33-year-old actress didn't say what projects she may be working on.

"I have had a year off, and I may work for a few months," Jolie says. "But if I do, I'm probably going to take another year and a half or two. I'm going to work a lot less."

Jolie and her partner Brad Pitt attended the 14th annual Critics' Choice Awards at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium on Thursday night.

Angie and Brad seem very happy. They have a beautiful life and family together. His movie "Button" was great. I have not seen "Changeling" yet, but will see it. It is so nice to know that the money they make will be shared by charities in the U.S and the world.

Tanked...why because it didn't make any money in the US?...too many people here go to see junk...Europe and Asia love Jolie and Changeling will more than make a profit ... sad sacks...they can't depend on no-brainers like you to go see excellent film... and Brad Pitt will have an Oscar nomination...and if you look at the stats on most films released in the US this year...most of them "tanked" as you say. Why? because people watch moveis at home now...or wait for theDVD

I think the reasons why their films aren't doing so well here is because people are sick and tired of seeing them and hearing about them. They're in the gossip rags constantly.

Its called over saturation.

Actually, I am not sure what you mean by "tanked," but Button broke box office records on opening day and I think was in the top 3 up until last week. I haven't checked this weekend's box office. Changeling is getting a lot of Oscar buzz as well but I haven't checked its box office records. Thus, if you mean "tanked" because a movie is a box office failure, then Button is not one of them. If you mean "tanked" because it has no critical acclaim, then neither Changeling nor Button qualify. I think its ok to have personal opinions of celebrities. However, it says a lot about a person who is willing to falsely report something just to support their own disdain.

If you do not like her do not watch her pictures or read on her you have that choice. Some people like her. I am one of those. I do not worship her, but I enjoy her movies. When she speaks at the UN and other news interviews she is very well spoken. She has been thin for as long as I can remember she is very small boned. Brad and others commented that when she lost her mother she lost a great deal of weight and when you are thin it does not take much. I am not sure how she keeps any weight on with all the traveling they do, taking care of the kids and everything else. Some people do not have the time to sit on their butts stuffing their face all day like many do anymore. The press hounds them and I think it is very smart of them to turn it to the things they want noticed are since they are going to be followed anyway.

I think they're just sick of seeing Jolie & Pitt everywhere you turn these days. You can't even wait in the line at your local grocery store without seeing her face either smiling or frowning or blank under a headline that blares "Bride Wars" ... & some of her own comments (well intended or otherwise) on her personal & professional 'interests' have prompted some of this criticism & image rejection.

As far as her's ~ or anyone other star's ~ involvement & contributions related to humanitarian projects or other causes ... of course, that's great & to be reasonably commended (but not overly so, in my perspective). We all do what we can, within our means & interests (& certainly, it appears she & Pitt follow that as well. They have specific causes they promote/support and ones they choose to dismiss, like important gun violence prevention work).

To each, his or her own. We don't have to like her ... just try & tolerate all the media on her & on Pitt (for the time being). They'll get older, and less interesting to younger audiences; & other celebrities will take their place and the roller-coaster ride will go on once more. LOL

If she was small boned then you would not be able to see all her bones sticking out! She is actually very wide, there is just no meat on her. Her shoulders and ribcage are the biggest parts of her.

I am 5"6 and 105lbs, there are no bones protruding, no hollow cheekbones, that is what naturally small boned people look like, you cannot see their bones, they fill out tiny clothes with a bit of meat!

Scarlett Johansson is an example of a 'tiny boned', person, you can't see them!
