I wonder if she can look as good as Jackie or Laura and still wear down - it's going to be freezing cold this year. That parade is going to be the march de mucho dolor if she's not bundled up.

I think Michelle Obama would look great in warm colors,and in pastels ! Did anyone see that white ball gown some designer did,I thought that was fabulous,and she could carry that one well!

One of the most beautiful spots in the world is Tarmina. A Grecco Roman theatre dominates, Throuh the ancient doors the actors used, one can se the fumming Aetna in the distance. Goethe visited the place. It had already become an event in History. Likewise, in a short time, we Americans in Washington will be adding a moment, adding an event to this Great History of the World, we will be annointing Barack Obama as president of our Nation in a unique moment of joy and wisdom and a longing cry for change.
VIVA the USA! Long Live Barack Obama!

What would make me feel really good is if they all made Inaug Day a little less about glam and more about reality. They could all wear blue jeans, ditch the expensive balls and have something more American like a big old barbecue for all I care. Dress up nice for the swearing in, then let it go. Why do we keep acting like we're a monarchy with so much attention paid to what the American royals wear and their pricy parties and lavish gifts? These royal expenditures could feed or provide health care for thousands of Americans. There's gotta be a better way of saying that the moment is special and historical than what we keep seeing.

Jimmy Carter tried to reel it in.

I like the formal aspects of the Inauguration. It gives it a special occasion kind of feeling. It's not like everyday, and my opinion is that you dress to suit the occasion.

Just my opinion but........

Jackie, 61' Refreshing, graceful, trendsetter;
Rosalynn, 77' Expected, looked better at the parade, loved the boots;
Nancy, 85 ' Exquisite Always. Believed in bold color, showed no fear, I just loved her;
Barbara, 89' Who knew, the color or money, beautiful with her hair.
Hillary, 93' On point, planning to repeat those words one day got herself;
Hillary, 97' Beautiful, Delicate, Questioning;
Laura, 01' Sweet, Welcoming, Personable
Laura 05' Beautiful, Radient, Happy in herself, Best Photo Ever
Cheney's wife Deserved Better, Quiet Desperation

Michelle, will be a stunner, she's beautiful, tall, graceful, beautiful skin, looks great in color and a figure to knock you out. She will take over every place she goes. This woman caries herself like a queen. And, that's exactly the way she will bring it.

Yes..she better not wear anything like that horrible dress she wore at the acceptance speech in Chicago..who the heck picked that out for her. My bet is that she picks something Jackiesque..to keep the camelot myth going.

The first time I saw Barbara Bush, she was de-planing with her husband. I thought she was his mother!

Wasn't Roslyn Carter considered dowdy back then? Her coat and boots are the most fashion forward.

Of Course, Jackie O's ensemble was outrageous...fur trimmed boots, oh my.
