I'm wonder if these comments would be different if that soldier had called Harry an "in.bred, backwards, Wh.itey, with an unmatched and undeserved sense of whit.e privilege."

He "served" in Afghanistan? Granted, he was there, but never, never in harms way.

This story is 3 YEARS old and the person who turned it in got paid for it where was their conscience then. The comments on the BBC are that they are pissed at the waste of press time and that the press should concentrate on Gaza etc. I agree with that sentiment.

YES. harry may/may not have offended one of the members of his platoon or whatever 3 years ago with a racial slur, or hundreds of people dying during the last couple weeks in gaza- what is more important?

Oh, good lord. People are so doggone touchy anymore. Who dares to say anything with all the political correctness? What are they going to do to him? Take him out of the line of succession? He'd probably like that.

Blessed are those free from the Paparazzi; for they can be human and make amends outside the public eye.

Yet, if England eliminated the position; millions of small and petty people with meaningless lives would stop buying tabloids wrecking an entire industry.

I could never live under the relentless scrutiny which haunts the British Royalty. I doubt many others could as well.

I saw the comments on TV and I seriously saw nothing wrong about it. If there was a problem there then you would have to go to Iraq and tear apart everything our American Soldiers say to each other on any given day. Give it a break, must be slow news day over at the pond. Oh and I love this:

But Mr Nunnely said he could act depending on the outcome of the Ministry of Defence's adjudication: ‘I will wait for whatever administrative action will be taken by the adjutant general's office before deciding whether this is a matter for our board.

Loosely translated means "We will accept Lord Harry's apology as soon as we see a contribution coming our way".

Send the royal twit out to look for a job that isn't provided for him by dint of being the son of dull Charles.

Big deal. They were all ribbing each other. Harry pretended to give orders, and then asked if there were any questions. One of his men asked "are your p.u.bes ginger too?" Shocking that young men in the military give each other a rash of sh*t. Just shocking.

Young Harry made a mistake. He was man enough
to apologize now I hope the other young man will
accept it and move on.

It was much to do over nothing in the first place, now the Father wants to squeeze his fifteen minutes out of it.

This guy is a spoiled jerk. First the N a z i uniform and then the P a k i comment thrown at a fellow soldier sleeping on the ground, as the prince steps over him and films him. And then everyone acts like: "oh, he is a good lad, leave him alone, it's no biggie" (just read the comments in the DailyMailUK). I cannot believe it. Regular people with limited means and no media exposure would think twice about doing or saying something like that and the prince does not know better? The underlying r a c i s m of British royals is so obvious here.

What? The person - whom Prince Harry referred his comment to - was awake. Didn't you see him talking to someone else in the video?

I can honestly believe Prince Harry (and his peers) not being that aware of the weight it carries for older generations (regardless of their ethnicity). I know because people my age (same as Harry's) really have no idea nor sense of what it used to mean or represent.

Many Asians my age have mixed feelings about this term because on one hand, it's a word that still hurts or affects many of their older relatives and on the other hand, it personally holds no emotional weight for them.

Regardless, some hate it and some really don't care. It's a case-by-case issue for all. So yes, it's a lot more complicated than you might believe.

Interesting about such DISMISSIVE comments as "people are just waaaay too sensitive anymore." and "get over it".

If insults were thrown at YOU, would YOU "get over it" on the spot?
FAT CHANCE! hahaha.

So STUFF IT, y'all.

Listen, I've been called lots of names during my career, even the dreaded "C" word that us women hate. I take it with a grain of salt. People hate it more when you completely ignore them. It drives them batsh#t.
