IT COULD be a down side to our ocean waters becoming cleaner, or the result of a welcome flourishing of the schools of small fish that cling to Australia's long coast.

The good news could also be that shark numbers are increasing. No one knows yet for sure.

OVERFISHING is causing this. The sharks are out of food sources. Doesn't take Jacques Cousteau to figure this out.
