Tina Fey's Golden Globes Speech To Critics: Suck It! (VIDEO)

Tina Fey won best actress for "30 Rock" at the Golden Globes and gave one of the funniest speeches of the night.

After saying what a fan she has always been of the Hollywood Foreign Press, Tina had a message for her critics. "Suck it."

Tina captured Palin brilliantly and reflected her to a huge and impressionable audience trying to figure out who Sarah was. It was a perfect set of moments. The reverberations, the millions of replays across all media, gave the kind of funny sound bites and 60 second bits ideal for airplay.
When I woke up and saw Tina's characature replayed on the morning shows I knew it was all over for Palin. And then there was the next parody and the next. Palin just kept on giving.

Nice speech. I don't like anything like this '30 Rock', but Tina is refreshingly smart for an actress, and may be eventually will do better things than 'Rock'.

Why does it always wins awards every year? Now don't get me wrong I don't watch the show however I have seen it once or 2. Its OK but I really don't like comedy shows. I like SciFi. But I do like the top 2 performers who both one awards.

The show is awesome! You gotta be a target audience.. I mean most the jokes anyone can get, but really women with careers and no home life can really relate... its the type of humor related to this lifestyle that makes it so funny and true.

Most shows if you cannot relate to them, are not funny. I never liked Everybody loves Raymond, really or any of the shows of homely husband/ hot wife matchups....

30 Rock is very different, but watch some episodes on nbc.com and get a feel back to back, rather than waiting once a week and you will see and maybe like it better... I even really didnt like Tropic Thunder, the first time, then laughed my a@@ off the second time.

Successful at what? Just exactly in what way is she "successful"? Who are you to decide that and who set that standard of success that you have so readily adopted? Rich? So what? Is that an achievement? Wealth is often the lopsided way people are rewarded in America. There are plenty of people who do important things like saving lives, blowing the whistle on corruption, fighting injustice, for example, who are not rich and probably will never get rich because most of society does not adequately value what they do. Again, if it doesn't fit the standard of what deserves wealth Americans ignore it. Media and sports personalities seem to be what is valued in America. And finally, what does beauty have to do with a defense of anyone? You are what the laws of nature decide you are, unless you're rich then you manipulate those laws.

That's funny; Tina Fey was very accomplished and known for her comedic brilliance, way before Sarah Palin reared her head. Ever heard of a smash movie called "Mean Girls?" She also won Emmys three years in a row for her writing on Saturday Night Live in, 2001, 2002, and 2003.

It's one thing to be bitter, but I don't understand why you Palin lovers insist on being downright ignorant too.
