Tracy Morgan spoke on behalf of "30 Rock" when the show won its Golden Globe and had one of the funniest speeches of the night.


"Tina Fey and I had an agreement that if Barack Obama won, I would speak for the show from now on. Welcome to post-racial America! I am the face of post-racial America. Deal with it Cate Blanchett!


He added, "A black man can't get no love at the Emmys. I love you Europe!"

I thought he was pretty hilarious. Tracy is one touched in the head fella who clearly makes his co-workers (and me) laugh, and I think that's great. I mean, because of "Brian Fellows" my friends and I still, to this day, say various people have "crazy eyes" and "he's tryin' to steal my credit!"

Different strokes for different folks. I happen to think he's funniest when he's trashed but ironically his speech last night made me chuckle and it looked like he wasn't as "on" as he normally is.

Check out his last appearence on Letterman. He definitely got his "drink on" before he came on the show.

About the only parallel I can draw between Tracy Morgan and Barack Obama is that they're both mammals. For those who defend this foolishness as humor, it appears to provoke the type of laughter induced by watching a drunken person tumble down a flight of stairs. Come on people.

Just because you don't see it as humor, does not mean it is not humor. That's the entire point of Tracy's speech. The world will no longer be viewed through the lens of a white man. Therefore, there will be things that you may not understand or find funny--but the beauty of it is that it is your perfect right not to understand it .
