Vice President-Elect Joe Biden Arrives In Iraq (VIDEO)

BAGHDAD — Vice President-elect Joe Biden has arrived in Baghdad following his visit to Afghanistan and Pakistan.

There was no formal announcement of Biden's arrival Monday in the Iraqi capital.

However, news photographers were called to the office of Iraqi President Jalal Talabani for what turned out to be a meeting with the vice president-elect.

Biden is visiting the two fronts in the U.S.-led war on terror ahead of the Jan. 20 presidential inauguration.

President-elect Barack Obama has promised to end the war in Iraq and refocus U.S. military efforts on Afghanistan.

Actually, Biden's strategy for promoting a political settlement in Iraq has nothing whatsoever to do with dividing up Iraq, as you imply.

On the contrary, the Biden strategy remains the only hope we all have for a stable and united Iraq.

I remember a month ago the press/media were saying with Hillary whats Joe going to do? I remember the press saying well I guess Biden will watching foreign policy not making it. Now we see that Biden is Obama's right hand doing the things he currently can't - like laying down the law that will be in effect in the next 8 days. SEEMS THE PRESS WAS WRONG AGAIN.
