But what kind of stuff should we be asking for? More rolling stock so there will be places to sit on jam-packed Metra and CTA trains? New hardware and software that would let passengers ply the entire RTA system with just one fare card? How about some pass-through funds to help cash-strapped state and local highway departments plow snow and patch potholes?
