Obama Birth Conspiracy Theorists Produce Hilarious Ad (VIDEO)

Via Boing Boing comes this wonderful video assembled by the brigade of conspiracy-minded kooks at ObamaForgery.com. Intended for air on network television, maybe, the video briefly runs down all of the weird theories over Obama's birth that you've heard many times before, with the addition of the world's worst Denzel Washington imitation as a last-ditch attempt to give the whole matter something akin to "gravitas." Anyway, if you still need a debunking -- and mind you, the Supreme Court doesn't -- please enjoy. These loons have another week to warn the world of this dire crisis, after which they'll all start flying their American flags upside down and beseeching the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to invade, so there's that to look forward to, I guess.

LIMA, Ohio — The most underreported story of 2008 is the saga of a few souls who are working through the courts to force President-elect Barack Obama to prove his citizenship.

The Framers, when putting together our Constitution, inserted Article 2, Section 1, Clause 4, which tells us. “No Person except a natural born Citizen … shall be eligible to the Office of President.” The same clause prevents Austrian-born Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger from being president.

17 lawsuits are filed.

One lawsuit filed in a federal court in Pennsylvania by Philip Berg, a Democrat.

That lawsuit alleges that Obama was born in Mombasa, Kenya. Berg says he has a recording of Obama’s grandmother, Sarah Obama, saying she was present when Obama was born in Kenya.

Berg claims that Obama himself and other members of his family have made conflicting statements about where he was born. Additionally, Kenyan officials stated Obama was born in Kenya.

The controversy surrounds Obama’s birth certificate. The state of Hawaii refused to release the long-form or “vault” copy of the birth certificate. Obama has also refused to release the long-form copy.

In June, the campaign did release a short-form certificate, which is a certificate created by Hawaii that says the long-form certificate is on file. However, according to Berg, the campaign only released the short-form certificate to The Daily Kos, a left-wing blog, and FactCheck.org, a pro-Obama organization. Berg called the short-form certificate a forgery.

My two children were born outside of the USA, of one American parent, and they may follow Obama as president after his two terms are up. The proper paperwork is called American citizen born abroad. There is rule of law or opinion. When will this goofyness end.
