Radiant Naomi Watts Steps Out, Talks Baby Weight: "I'm Breast Feeding"

Naomi Watts ventured out to her first red carpet since giving birth four week ago to second sonSamuel Kai. Watts attended a screening and party for "Defiance," starring her fiance Liev Schreiber.

People asked her how she already had dropped her baby weight:

"I'm breast feeding," Watts, 40, told PEOPLE about her routine with Samuel Kai Schreiber. "And he's sucking it all out of me, it seems. And when the baby comes out, it's a lot of weight right there..."

"They're very different," Watts said of her two boys. "[Sammy]'s more fragile, in a way. But I don't know, maybe I've forgotten how small they are. [Alexander] is only 18 months old.

"And I've also got this big baby right here," she said, pointing to Schreiber at her side on the red carpet.

As for Schreiber's role in the film, Watts has raves. "I think he should be nominated, though he doesn't like when I say that."

Nature's clever that way. The 'baby weight' is stored fat to feed the kid - it's not rocket science ladies. Feed the kid. Eat sensibly (not for 2 adults). Shed the weight.

She looks great, particularly so considering she is only four weeks post birth! Exercise and diet probably has more to do with it than breastfeeding though. Actresses always like to leave that bit out!

I don't get the big deal with folks being upset about feeding ones baby? How is this too much info? It's a natural thing and if I had a baby I would flip those puppies out for the world to see, if my baby was hungry.

I haven't seen the posts upset about breast feeding but I'll give them a real fright: I'm still breastfeeding a 2-year-old! And I still haven't lost my pregnancy weight!

You're the b omb! I'm still nursing my 18 mo old, and it's not melting off me, either. Of course, sitting on my arse, blogging on the 'Po probably doesn't help! Good way to get through 20 mins of breastfeeding, though!

Defiance is a good film, not great, but it presents a side of events that not many are aware of. Daniel Craig is good but Liev is better.

She looks great - lucky Liev! Naomi is my 2nd fave actress (Cate Blanchett is numero uno) ... being a mom is a wonderful blessing, but I hope she still continues to make great movies!
