Obamas Move Into Blair House, One Step Closer To The White House

The Obamas are moving one step closer to the White House.

On Thursday, President-elect Barack Obama and his family will move into Blair House, which traditionally serves as a temporary home for incoming presidents and their families, just five days before they move into their official residence at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

I'm very much an Obama supporter, and I think that the Bushes could easily have made alternative plans for the ex-pm of Australia, like giving him a bedroom at the WH, for instance.

Why is the press allowed so much information? What happened to limited information. I understand transparency in government. Has anyone noticed that amost everything is disclosed now or leaked? I mean, where is the national security for our Pres or Pres Elect or Military or anything? Obama, regretfully is a target. There are some individuals, on the extremist side that do no want him in the white house. The media reveals too much information, like security measures for the innauguration, when he is going to move into Blair House etc. I think that they want him assasinated. I always thought that, even when Bush was in office and Clinton. TMI, please media, stop giving out so much information, regarding location, dates and times. I believe that is why Diana and a lot of other famous people that were killed, including King, are no longer with us.

It is going to be much easier for the Secret Service to guard this family in Blair House than it was in a public Hotel. Not to mention the fact that it is much less expensive. Our government used a lot more of our tax dollars to guard the Obama's at that hotel than they would have guarding them at Blair House.
