If it's August and the cat has ridiculously thick fur that spins well? Save it up for a while, then go to it! Just as long as you wash it thoroughly to get the dander out so it doesn't trigger allergic reactions in people.

I would think getting an angora bunny and brushing them would be softer and less likely to leave you bleeding than shaving a cat (!) but, ya' know. :)
