Boehner

House Republican Leader John Boehner of Ohio had a three-word - and three sentence - response after seeing the Democratic proposal for the stimulus package that was circulating Thursday: "Oh. My. God."

Recovering, he added, "I don't even - my notes here say that I'm disappointed. I just can't tell you how shocked I am at what we're seeing."

OMG, Boehner is such an A@@hole. The phony outrage makes me want to puke. The Republican part y got us into this mess and he wants to act like he doesn't know how it was done. No there should not be more tax cuts for business in the stimulus package. The Republicans and Bush Tax cuts got us into this mess.

I know, it's all the Republicans fault. Let's forget the fact that in 2006 when the republicans controlled the government housing was at the peak, stocks were at an all time high ( bouncing back with an almost 100% return since September 11), and unemployment was low.. Since then afterthe democrats took control of both congress (which has a lower approval rating then Bush) and the Senate we are in shambles.
William James, Father of Modern Psycology, once said " Nothing is so obsurd, if you believe it enough , if you repeat it enough people will believe it. We the people know that we have been lied to. I'm just not sure how many realize who has done the lying.
Since Abraham Lincoln has been talked about so much lately, I will quote him. "Any Congressmen that brings down the morale of a country during war time should be hung". Now, I don't believe in hanging, but justice would be suffice. Our country truely is the only nation in the world that its economy is powered by peoples belief on how things "are". The Liberal media and Democrats have made sure that the belief of the US Citizen is demolished. Hey my hat's off to them though. They did an amazing 8 year political campaign and victory is here. Nothing better then politics before country. To my fellow Republicans, let's put COUNTRY FIRST, not politics. Give Barrack Obama an opportunity.

You know, Boehner is correct. All of this silly intervention on behalf of the economy is simply a lack of faith in the Free Market system. If Milton Friedman wasn't dead he would be chastising us all for our panic in terms of the economy. You know, I think Obama and the Democrats should take Boehner's comments to heart and simply do nothing. No help for Wall Street, no help for Main Street ... the situation will right itself.

You see, Boehner and I both derive our wisdom on the best way to approach the economic meltdown from the Mad Magazine issue with "the Poop-side-down Adventure". After all of the trouble and misadventure the Reverend and the his band went through to get to the bottom of the capsized ship in order to escape, as the smart alack kid pointed out to the perturbed Reverend, the ship will right itself after 90 minutes anyway.

So in the spirit of Alfred E Neuman, Obama, Dems, Fed ... STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING!!! Let's wait with Boehner and the rest of the Republicans for the poop-side-down economy to right itself ... pass the popcorn.

(What, Me Worry?)

I'm sorry, Mr. Boehner, you're decrying the practice of "borrow and spend" now? After eight years of aiding and abetting George Bush in the greatest case of robbery in U.S. history, leaving our economy in a smoking heap, now the time has come to exercise fiscal restraint? Sir, if you had any conception of the concept of shame, you would apologize for your complicity, bow your head and resign.

The wolf is in sheeps clothes...How dare those who drove this economy into the ground, committed us to a war with 10 billion a month ransom, and bailing out the banks with 350+ bil tax payer bailout complain. All Republicans should have lost during the election. Boener is a hoax and a shallow politician...he should rest with Sarah Palin.

This Bush rubber stamp had no problem with spending four billion a month in Iraq or bankrupting the country with tax cuts for the super rich.

Give me a break.

There were many, MANY, OH MY GOD moments during the last 8 years.

Under the Bush administration OH MY GOD, does not begin to reflect how the Republicans have devastated the US.

OH MY GOD, does not begin to describe how we Canadians feel about the THOUSANDS of lives we have lost in Afghanistan. The coalition of the willing. Willing to follow the US in search for Bin Laden and his followers.

Bush decides to all but abandon Afghanistan, while he wages an egotistical war against Iraq, leaving "The Coalition of the Willing" to suffer casualties not seen since WW2, in Afghanistan!

OH MY GOD does not begin to address how the Iraqi citizenry feels after loosing 600,000 of their country men in collateral damage.

OH MY GOD can not come close to portraying the idiocy of having no plan in place to to aid the Iraqi people in setting up their "democracy" Absolutely no comprehension of the tribal beliefs, values, conflicts and hierarchy. In a nutshell, no real understanding of the Iraqi people whatsoever!

OH MY GOD can't articulate the most powerful military force in the world, led into war by their commander and chief, passed by their congress, WITH NO WITHDRAWAL PLAN IN PLACE!

OH MY GOD

It sounds like Boehner is cribbing from Claude Rains in Casablanca: "I'm shocked, shocked to find gambling going on here."
11:40 AM on 01/16/2009
I laughed out loud when I heard Boehner complain that this is a terrible bill because it's all 'borrow and spend'. Sublime revisionist posturing.

It'll take Republicans at least 25 years to convince the American people that they're anything BUT borrow and (wildly) spend frat boys.

Oh yeah. He'll go straight to Papa Obama and tell on all those bad Democrats who didn't include him in crafting this bill.

This is WAY too funny.

An Open Letter:
To the Republicans...

Does the Republican Party need put out of Business by WE the People??? You label yourselves as the Opposition Party... It used to be Conservative Republican's actually were somewhat Statesmen representing WE the People... Now, more time, energy, and money is spent fighting with Democrats to CONTROL the American People...

A Dominating Two Party System is NOT working for WE the People... Both Party's are focused on First and Foremost who's in Control... Greed, Fear and Control runs Rampant through the Administration, Congress, Business, the MSM and Organized Religion... WE the People come in way down the Line of importance... Our Nation is being harmed by this Greed, Fear and Control...

Suddenly the Republicans are financial experts??? After borrowing and spending for the last 8 years of the Bush Administration you stupidly think WE the People did NOT notice??? OMG the Republicans are shocked??? Were you shocked when you were in Control and crashed the Economy??? Who authorized borrowing / spending 10 to 12 Billion $$$$$ a month to Invade and Occupy Iraq???

Should not WE the People put you Republicans out of OUR Misery you brought about??? At least with a One Party System there is no struggle for Control while the USA crashes!
