The focus seemed balanced between foreign policy issues and the concern that the United States does not get its money's worth from the organization.

U.S. doesn't get its money's worth from the U.N.? Did not ratify the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People...Maybe Barack "Black Eagle" a newly minted member of the Crown Nation of Montana (peyote converted tribe) and his peyote advisors in his new administration, (note the peyote gourd dance that will be taking place at the native american inaugural ball)... hope none of us will notice....

....Not a member of the International Criminal Court......I would say the U.S. is getting its money's worth. Sort of like Rodney Dangerfield trying to buy his way through college....

Seriously, Susan Rice is one of the few picks Obama has made that I'm really excited about. She's really laid into the UN for its failures of Rwanda and Darfur.
