i recently lost my daddy (yes, he'll always be my 'daddy') on the 22nd of January, a few days after Michelle's birthday...(I am SO GLAD that he got to see Barack elected and sworn in)...and it's SURREAL...i was/am very close to him. I now feel like a 'little piece of fun' is missing from my life. Thank you for posting this, as I realise I am not alone. I learned SO MUCH ABOUT COMPASSION FOR ALL HUMAN BEINGS from my daddy, the most non-judgmental person i will EVER know. Just knowing the fact that I will ALWAYS be his little girl...that he now lives IN ME even moreso than when he was on this Earth...that we're a true TEAM...makes it possible (and GOOD) to continue with life!
