Daley: Obama Made King's Message Happen

[Mayor] Daley marveled at Obama's rise to the presidency, comparing it to the late Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.'s rise to prominence in the civil rights movement by helping organize the Montgomery Bus Boycott in 1955.

"You think of Martin Luther King back in 1955 making a statement about, really, change," the mayor said. "Look . . . , in 2009, it has changed."
