Obama Booty-Bumps At Neigborhood Ball (VIDEO, PHOTO)

At the Neighborhood Ball on Tuesday night, 14-year-old Victoria Lucas challenged Obama to do "The Bump" with her. As the elated 9th grader told People the next day:

"He was just a very smooth, cool, laidback dancer. He was just like a normal person," assessed Lucas. "You would never think this dude earlier today was sworn in as our next president.

...."He's just an all-American good dancer. I hope I find a boy like that!"

Getting Obama to dance wasn't difficult, either. "I said to him, 'Let's start the Bump,' and he was like, 'Well, okay!' And we just started doing the Bump.

"It was the only dance move I knew that was good for TV. And I think we both had the basic movement going on and it just sort of fell into place."

I love it! The man is intelligent, smart, cool as a cucumber and does the bump with a little girl because she asked. Can you imagine Dubya doing something like that?!?! I knew he was down to earth when I saw him do the "fist bump" with the First Lady :) ... but this reaffirms that!

What a moment. One the young lady will remember forever.

I swear now that all the excitement is over, though, I can feel the heaviness bearing down on me again. Lord save us what is going to happen next. This morning I watched the local news and one story was that unemployment has reached 8.1% here in Georgia. Then without skipping a beat they say "The Governor has said property taxes are going up to make up for the state's shortfall...education budget being slashed."

I'm already unemployed like so many, lost my health insurance like so many (even had to get off all the anti-depressants since they aren't covered anymore). I've gone from being a legal assistant to cleaning houses. I can bearly get out of bed each day to make the measly amount of money I am making to contribte to my family's needs. Why am I posting this here? I need to tell somebody.

Our governor, Sonny, is going out of his mind. He is trying to balance the State budget on the backs of the people in GA. And he is not giving up on thing...but maybe if he doesn't pay back this 20+ million dollar personal loan that is due he will be gone with the end before his term is up. What a wonderful thought. He is another George W. Bush in disguise. Can wait for a CHANGE to come to GA. Maybe there is an Obama on the GA horizon.
