New Private Obama Pictures From The First 48 Hours (PHOTOS)

Below are new, private photos of the first 48 hours of Barack Obama's administration.

The President and First Lady Michelle Obama, along with daughters Sasha and Malia, were captured in tender moments by White House photographer Pete Souza.

From moments before Tuesday's swearing in to late in the night after the inauguration, Souza was there.

He also captured the new President talking business with his Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

At the risk of gushing, I'm so proud of this guy that every time I see him I get misty eyed. Not only do I love my President, but I just think he's such a cool guy. And isn't it great to have a cool and competent guy leading our country

Yo Dwjackson, I know what you mean. While watching the Obamas, I get misty eyed or I am grinning from ear to ear. I have taken an interest in everything they do. I am a 58 year old male and yes, I have suddenly developed a keen interest in what Mrs. Obama wears. I get a tickle hearing how everytime she wears an outfit. The vendor get inudated with new orders or the vendor's website crashes from inquiries. She is a living stimulus package for the fashion industry.

i think that some people dont realy give a danm about whats going on in the world,the only thing that some people has got to do is sit aROUND and bitch ,or maybe they are just jealous.

It’s the one just before the swearing in, when Michelle puts her hand on her husband’s heart. The solemnity of the moment, the communion between the two of them, the unspoken words… Just… so incredibly moving…
