I Like ItI Don’t Like It

The speculation as to whether Bill Kristol will continue his career as a New York Times columnist can end. Buried at the end of his column Monday is this announcement:

This is William Kristol's last column.

The Huffington Post broke the news in late 2007 that Kristol would be joining the Times for 2008, and as last year came to a close it remained unclear whether Kristol's relationship with the paper would continue. He had said he was "ambivalent" about staying on as a columnist there.

Hooray. Now the country needs to find a way to dump Rove and Limbaugh from our media.

NYT boots Kristol from columnist list. GOOD RIDDANCE and three cheers for the NYT.

I confidently predict that NYT's circulation will rise.

Looks like a year was all BKristol needed to deplete 110% of his credibility.

When I cancelled my subscriptions last year, after 6 years, I was getting a free copy for 8 weeks, and each time, I returned it still in that cellophane cover untouched at my own expense with a note that I will not continue my subscriptions until Kristol is one of their staff writer.

I am sure that did not have any effect to Kristol's termination as columnist. But I am glad. And frankly, I don't care if it was amicable separation or not, 'am just glad, he is out.

Krystol surprised me by not being able to balance his bias. Pat Buchannan has learned how to maintain his conservative values, yet convey his opinions with a degree of balance. Rush Limbaugh is another one of those who has not an ounce of objectivity.

Buchannan may lean to the right, but he is not an idiot, like Kristol. His views on US foreign policy in the middle east and its effects on driving terrorism are right on.

Kristol is simply an intellectual midget.

Former paid Enron propagandist, B. Kristol: 'bout time to shed light on what you know. Thanks.

Among his truly awful record, I was shocked to watch Bill C called for bombing Iran in a soft spoken voice and a wide grin. Whose children to send into battle? Not his, of course. His daughter was at the same time pictured in the NYT as a recent Duke University grad and a newly wed.

I had cancelled my NYT subscription when the paper hired him.

Good riddance to bad rubbish. (I apologize to fellow readers in advance - I have not ever said this to or about anyone before).
