Blago Gets Noogie, Refuses To Do Nixon Impression On "The View" (VIDEO)

Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich continued his television campaign proclaiming his innocence on "The View" Monday and ended up getting his hair tousled by cohost Joy Behar.

After a segment of Barbara Walters, via satellite, questioning Blago one-on-one, the panel came back. Most of the interview consisted of the Governor complaining that the Illinois impeachment trial won't allow him to bring witnesses who would prove his innocence.

At the end, Behar got upset that their time was over and asked him to do his Nixon impression, which she has heard is great. Caught off guard, Blago laughed but repeatedly refused, and earned a head rub from Behar.

I am really disgusted that the media is willing to play enabler to Blago as he embarks on his this latest pr gimmick to try to convince the people that he is really not a bad guy. The problem is that every time he opens his big mouth, he puts his foot in it. He is his own worst enemy.

Beware, he is scheduled to appear on Larry King Live tonight. The show goes on, the circus continues and the citizens of the state of Illinois aren't being well served at all. If Blago really cared about the people of his state the way he pretends he does, then he would have already stepped down and let the Lieutenant Governor take over.

What I detest the most is how Blago is misinforming the public about the legal system. He is confusing a criminal trial, in which the defendant is entitled to due process and can confront his accusers, with the impeachment process currently underway in the Illinois state legislature. I hope they hurry up and convict this maniac. Then let him go out and plead his case on all the media outlets he wants to, at least the business of government can resume in Illinois.

I saw it and it was surreal. He kept touching the women as though he knew them ... well! Never mind the giggles and Joy's tousling of his hair. Crazy stuff. Do the View ladies want to make him a star? If the ratings say so.

The man is completely narcissistic - as noted as likely by several mental health professionals in another article here at huffpost. This in part means, he doesn't understand that all this is not about him. He blames everything and everyone else for the predicament he is in. His love of self supercedes his ability to look at the situation critically or to understand his self-important and self-rewarding behaviors are either inappropriate (like the media blitz he's embarked on) or illegal (like his pay-for-play politics).

I'm an Illinois voter and I can't watch this - it would make me vomit. I can't understand why they agreed to have him in the first place. Never mind - I DO understand. But maybe some good will come out of his efforts to turn himself into the victim. He is showcasing his warped personality for the whole country to see. So, lets see. If YOU were arrested and charged with a crime NOT before a court but before public opinion...­.YOU would just roll over and barf? He has every right to defend himself. He is entitled to the presumption of innocence contrary to the political lynching that is going on not only in the hearing but also by the public who would evoke their constitutional rights if it was one of them or their family member. He is using what he is able to use to get his side of the story out. He is prohibited to talk specifically about the case for there is a pending criminal case that has yet to be bought before a grand jury. Blagojevich is "guilty" in the eyes of "fair and just" public opinionated people...h­owever...n­ot one grand juror has heard the case against him. This is America...­I think? Or did we all become transformed in the last eight years of lies, distortion of truths, tortures, prison camps and all those "other" unlike American traits that seems to have taken us captive as hostages.

Actually, Blago has been CHARGED and he currently sits CHARGED while the States Attorney has a February deadline to go to the Grand Jury for an INDICTMENT.

Blago's TV belly-aching is about the impeachment trial, which is NOT a criminal proceeding requiring indictment.

He is using the TV to sway public OPINION. My OPINION is that he is unfit to govern and that the impeachment proceedings are fair and legal.
