This is the most ignorant piece ever on HuffPost, and that's saying a lot. Presidents, as far as I am aware, NEVER keep the gifts from foreign dignitaries, and ALL PRESIDENTS amass a lot of these gifts while in office. It is a ceremonial thing going back centuries.

I have always wondered what happens to this stuff. Some of it makes it into the presidential libraries, but where is the rest of it? There have been some pretty hefty gifts given to presidents and members of government over the years.

Thats why it was shipped in plastic - so that it couldn't be traced. He has no intension of giving that back - Cheney would never allow it.
