This is the most ignorant piece ever on HuffPost, and that's saying a lot. Presidents­, as far as I am aware, NEVER keep the gifts from foreign dignitarie­s, and ALL PRESIDENTS amass a lot of these gifts while in office. It is a ceremonial thing going back centuries.

I have always wondered what happens to this stuff. Some of it makes it into the presidenti­al libraries, but where is the rest of it? There have been some pretty hefty gifts given to presidents and members of government over the years.
