Move Over, Hooters: New 'Breastaurants' Are Moving In On Market

Good restaurateurs know how to sell the sizzle, and few chains have done a better job of hustling the stuff over the past 2½ decades than Hooters.

But now, inspired by the success of Hooters' wings-toting female staff, restaurants such as Twin Peaks, Bone Daddy's and other local operators with cute waitresses, cold beer and a male clientele are, well, busting out all over. And Texas, where the sole Hooters' franchisee is both the chain's sales leader and No. 1 in locations nationally, is a prime market for the "breastaurant" concept.

Many years ago I knew a woman, one of the few women in management in her company. Her boss sent her and a male co-worker to a third world country to set up a manufacturing facility. Yes, they were going to fire Americans and hire third world workers. While she was there, the management male she went with "purchased" children for sex purposes. This apparently was known within their company and acceptable behavior. Then this guy went home to his wife and kids, little league, and church in the suburbs, and probably voted Republican.

I always wondered what it must be like to live in a country in which selling women and children for sex was simply part of the commerce -- we all have to eat. I'm beginning to wonder if that's where we're headed. Or are we there already? Everybody with a hand-held camera, a few lights and an empty warehouse is a porn king. Many of our products are sold by sexualizing children. Maybe that's supposed to be a substitute for the real jobs that are gone. Selling women and child.

Women are not innocent unicorns where their hoves make the sound of laughing children as they trot. Most women have used sex to take advantage of men for extended period during their lives, so they have no innocence as you might suggest. When women quit using their bodies and withholding sex to get their way, then you can propose such nonsense.

Because we all know those "not so innocent" 8 year olds are all just "with-holding it to get their way"...because men should just be allowed to do whatever they want even when it involves 8 year old girls and kidnapped young women.
