SAG Awards Fashion: The Michelle Obama Effect And More (SLIDESHOW)

It looked like Hollywood was still basking in the post-inauguration glow as two trends that Michelle Obama set last Tuesday were paraded down the red carpet of Sunday night's Screen Actors Guild Awards. First was the one-shoulder dress, and the other was wintry white. Also, the black gowns that blanketed the Golden Globes were nowhere to be seen, while skin was still very much in.

I completely disagree with the person who reviewed this outfits. Penelope Cruz's dress is my favorite of all dresses and secondly Angelina Jolie's.

As for Meryl Streep's pant suit, we have Hillary Clinton to thank for that.

I guess this is why they are called the Beautiful People. So many gorgeous people.

The single strap dress is OK, but it isn't all that great. I think Michelle is having fun experimenting with different dresses, and to my mind, that is fine. I wonder if she will ever experiment with a pants suit. Sometimes she looks really, really great, and other times I think to myself, wow, I hope she doesn't wear that dress again. Still, the most important thing is that she is so cool, and comfortable in her own body.

Angelina needs to put on 10lbs. I think she looks terrible, the dress is dowdy and those tattos are not attractive.

The one shoulder was in style before Mrs. O, the designer is just going witht he trend. Viola Davis, Taraji Henson and Kate Winslett were the best i think.

I thought Angelina looked fabulous..­..loved the dress.. only a tall slender woman can wear that dress backwards or frontwards­...notice in the picture Brad is standing watching her and he looks very proud....w­omen who are constantly whining about another woman looking too thin...is usually bending their elbows too much and need to push away from the table. We all want to be our best weight...a­nd for Angelina Jolie its thin...she doesn't need to eat...have you seen how she carries one or two children at a time...thi­s woman is healthy and strong... rich, beautiful, smart, compassionate and flys her own plane...so D1116 what have you done today?
