Blago

As Gov. Rod Blagojevich courted public sympathy on a national media blitz Monday, "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" offered little solace.

In the segment "Scumdog Million-Hairs," Jon Stewart savaged Blagojevich's "very arrogant" attempt at circumventing his impeachment trial:

I think this guy is probably a certifiable sociopath. You can go down the checklist of sociopathic traits, everything from being manipulative and charming to the greatly exaggerated sense of self-importance, compulsive lying and total absence of guilt. Amazing. If this guy hadn't gone into politics, he could've made a zillion dollars on Wall Street.

Gandhi, King and Mandela were/are not corrupt. They were/are true heros and freedom fighters.
As for you Blago, you are a crook who got caught. Your own words and your agnorance are you worse enemies here ....

Blago seems to think that by trying to attach himself to illustrious people, some of their lustre will rub off on him. I wonder if he actually believes anyone's buying his horsebleep.

Jon was way too easy on him last night.

Blago compared his struggles to those of Gandhi and Mandela!
Gandhi and Mandela!!!

Loosing his job because he is an arrogant jack-hole who believes he is so special that anything he does is good simply by virtue of him having done it somehow can be equated to the decades of oppression, imprisonment, deprivation and physical punishment these two WORLD HEROES endured?

Their causes - peace, ending oppression of whole populations of people, setting examples of ethical fortitude for the whole world.

Blago - making some big bucks off a political appointment, lining up a job when gets canned, sticking it to the 83% of Illinois residents who say he is doing a bad job.

Politicians who betray the public trust for personal gain are the mother of all scumdogs. If the courts prove that is the case then I'd settle for Convict Blago.
