I Like ItI Don’t Like It

Chip Saltsman went on MSNBC Tuesday morning with the intention to promote his candidacy for the Republican National Committee chairmanship. Instead, he got a tongue-lashing from MSNBC Contessa Brewer for trying to blame the media for the outrage over a Christmas tape he sent out that included the song "Barack The Magic Negro."

Watch the interview:

Contessa is amazing at targeting the idiots with a ruler for their stupidity, right back at your face man.

The truly mindboggling thing is that after this eight year fiasco - this pathetic cast of characters is the best the RNC could come up with to bring in fresh leadership. Have they completely lost what's left of their minds?

Why is crying now. It's done and over. What ever you feel in your heart speaks through your mouth.
The Bible says in James chapter 5 verses 8, the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. Saltsman did and said what exactly came from the heart.

If he (Saltsman) truly did and said exactly what came from his hear then he is bereft of any decency at all.

This guy doesn't even sound sorry for what he did. All he did was try to shift blame on someone else.

People need to learn how to apologize and then do better.

He's not sorry. That's why he can't even feign empathy. I think he still thinks it was a smart little ditty. If only someone didn't leak it to the press, he'd probably still be asking RNC members if they thought it was funny. Most of them probably would answer YES.

In order to apologize, you have to honestly understand that what you did was wrong. This man is so lacking in compassion and intellect that he cannot comprehend the bigotry and hatred of his actions.

I'm not sure what offends me more about him: his racism or his lying...

Say it with me:

"Blame the media, it's always their fault"

I like that, "Don't shoot the messenger" this guy is clueless.

Chip saltzman, what a brainless excuse for a human being. and the bad thing about it is he doesn't get it. That's what the GOP has always been about. I hope he is elected to lead his party. What a gift that would be for those racists. Their party is no longer a viable party ,so let him keep it up.

Excellent. The more these extremists come on tv, the more they look out of touch.

She states that "you can't win with white votes alone".........This idiot is one the biggest problem for the Republicans, even after the Presidential Election with all of the Palin supports and their bigotry. He can't see America for what is has become more mature and open minded.

The GOP wants to attract more minorities to the party, by showing that Repubs care about helping them make their lives better too.. Hey, what a start! It just goes to show how completely out-of-touch with basic human decency these people are, to have allowed a "Gag joke" offensive CD to go out in the first place- especially when this nation was on the verge of electing its first AA President. On the other hand, they do the rest of us a favor, by showing themselves to be the racist losers they are.

When the mask slips with these bunch of yokels, it sure exposes some ugly stuff, to put it mildly.

Brewer is good, really good. It nice to see a reporter who doesn't take bull easily and hits back and hits back hard. Barbara Walters did so too the other day when she interviewed Blago. Then there's Campbell Brown of CNN; she's one of the best as well as Christiane Amanpour and O'Brian. Katie Couric too showed her spunk with Palin this past year so maybe she got the message about all those soft interviews she had been doing. And how can we forget Rachel Maddow--just terrific. For the guys--Anderson Cooper, Keith Olberman and even Tweety Pie who really doesn't take crap from anyone, regardless if he's off the mark sometimes. It appears women however take the lead when confronting these jerks. Male reporters are too much of a gentlemen and you can't be a gentlemen with thugs.

I read that article By David Ehrenstein, and I must say it was the stupidist thing I ever heard. The Republicans are on a path of destruction and division. They are on there way back to pre-1960 era. It does not make since, but they will grow at a faster rate in becoming the minority. America is moving beyond people like Saltsman. Do be alarmed to see more to come from the Republican party and how it splits!!!
