NoLimits.org: Clinton Supporters Launch New Group

Hillary Clinton, having been confirmed as Secretary of State, has to end all her various campaign activities. But supporters of the former Senator have started a new organization: NoLimits.org.

In an email, the group describes itself as "a new community dedicated to speaking up, sharing ideas and solving problems in our communities, our cities, our states, and our world."

"Inspired by Hillary's speech in Denver, when she said 'With our ingenuity, innovative spirit and creativity, there are no limits to what is possible in America,' we formed NoLimits.org so that we can continue working together on the issues that are important to us," writes Clinton aide Ann Lewis.

Lewis tells Ben Smith that the group is a 501(c)3, meaning it can't engage in politics.

"We want a way to stay in touch," Lewis said, describing a sentiment she said she and other Clinton supporters shared after the convention. "We want to stay in touch with what's going on."

It's appears also to be a way to keep Hillary's substantial email list -- a political lifeline -- up and running, and could also house Clinton political staffers while Clinton is out of politics.

"The staff will grow as we go," Lewis said, saying the group's aims would be open-ended and "responsive" to what members want.
