Obama Tells Beyonce He Likes "Single Ladies," Does Hand Flip (VIDEO)

Barack Obama admitted to Beyonce that like millions before him, he too liked "Single Ladies" and could do at least some of its famous choreography.

Caught on camera by John Legend while greeting participants at the Concert on the Mall, then-President-Elect Obama gets called out by wife Michelle about his fondness for her song (the video of which is below).

Michelle Obama says, "Mr. President, you didn't tell Beyonce about 'Single Ladies'? Your rendition?"

"I'm not like Justin [Timberlake]" Obama says laughing, referencing the SNL spoof. "I didn't put on the outfit... [but} I didn't want my girls thinking that I couldn't, you know... I got a lil something."

And with that, he did the hand flip and added, "This part I get."

Two days later he again danced to Beyonce, along with wife Michelle, at his first inaugural ball.

My comment was an observation about her attire and manner of presenting herself. Doesn't matter if she has a crush on him. Doesn't matter if she acts cute or sweet. Many people have crushes on Obama as you point out. I think that she just showed it publicly and in a subtle way and thought it tactless.

this is just more proof that he had an e-mail relationship with Scarlett Johansson. Remember: what she said
ohansson is somewhat shocked that he keeps up their back-and-forth correspondence. "You'd imagine that someone like the senator who is constantly traveling and constantly 'on' -- how can he return these personal e-mails?" she asks. "But he does, and in his off-time I know he also calls people who have donated the minimum to thank them. Nobody sees it, nobody talks about it, but it's incredible." He even talked about how he likes her movies etc. now it's very obvious that he l ied and said that he only sent one e-mail to her which only said a few words thanking her for everything she has done but he denied any kind of writing back and fourth which is not true. why would an actress almost as famous as Obama need to make up a false story? Obama loves celebrities and knows all about pop culture clearly and he just got caught.

I can't believe that I agree with you...I do believe that he and she probably did e-mail eachother on more than one occassion which really irks me..I didnt want to believe it, and then when he came out saying that it wasn't true, I didn't feel relieved, like *phew I knew she was making it up*, no I felt a little nervous that Scarlett would come back with the evidence of some sort of their e-mails and therefore probably ruin the election. Luckily she backed off, but her excuses and continued talk over this issue in the media and magazines aren't helpful. This is the side of him I don't like...when I see him being impressed with other celebs or when he is e-mailing some 20 something year old actress who has a big crush on him..I live in L.A and go to parties and see actors and actresses all the time and I am never impressed, so it is strange for me to see him get excited around celebs...

It came out over the summer that he indeed stop all emails with Scarlett, I remember him admitting to it. So, I don't get this indignant reaction. They were brief, harmless emails, but he got worried about how it would look and broke it off.

I think what finalfantasy was trying to get at is that the whole e-mail thing sounds more believable because I guess he seems to be into pop culture...not that it's a crime but I think he/she is making the point that Obama did talk to Scarlett but then when he got caught he tried to say that it was just one little e-mail, knowing that if he admitted that he constantly e-mailed Scarlett then it would have been a big political story and he possibly could have lost the election.

Scarlett Johansson did have an e-mail relationship and she went into great detail about what they talked about, from her movies to the ABC debate that he had with Hillary Clinton, which wouldn't make sense for her to lie because she would know that Obama would deny it unless she is absolutely i nsane! He said that she didn't have his personal e-mail which is quite funny because he then right after saying that said that he e-mailed her saying "Thank you for what you do" or something along those lines...therefore she would have had to have his personal e-mail address. pleasse hush up...Beyonce has been with the same man for 8 years now and is happily married... there has never been any rumors about her being loose, getting drunk at clubs, partying all night long, walking around with no panties etc...she is a great role model for young girls today..
