I Like ItI Don’t Like It

Karl Rove appeared on "The O'Reilly Factor" tonight and addressed his outstanding subpoena to testify before Congress. Rep. John Conyers, who O'Reilly characterized as a "fanatic," has been after Rove to testify before his committee for some time. Rove said he'd been instructed by the previous administration to ignore any subpoena, and then got a bit literary, remarking that Conyers is "sort of like Captain Ahab and I'm the whale." O'Reilly, calling Rove a "stand-up guy," offered him a place to hide from Congress: "If you need a place to hide out, we have it here at the Factor. We have all kinds of tunnels and places we can put you." Rove demurred and said "I don't need to hide." (Hiding spot offer is at the end of the interview.)

I think the fact that he has to distinguish which crimes he is being subpoenaed for says something about his actions in the last eight years.

The way the GOP treats governance and our legal system as a schoolyard game is just disgusting.

Hubris. They joke. They think they are above the law. Why aren't they both indicted yet? Rove for election fraud, ignoring a subpoena, lying, conspiracy, propaganda, and everything else; Oh,Really? for defamation, conspiracy, and pro pa gan da. I hope in press secretary Mc Connell's new book that it has more about the talking points handed down from the white house that he once claimed were taken by Oh,Really.

So, Bill-O the Clown wants to obstuct arresting officers? I hope it happens: the cops come in to the Fox Studios to arrest the cowardly Rove, O'Reilly tries to get in their face and is maced, put on the ground, handcuffed, and hauled off to jail for obstructing Federal officers!

This is disgusting. Our government, and Congress want him to testify for breaking the law and all Bill can do is Jack Off at the chance to talk to this man. This makes me throw up in my mouth a little.

yes yes. To most conservatives It's manly and patriotic to scoff at our laws and our constitution when they seem to help out the other guy and not always the good ole boys. They thought the laws of they're land were designed only to protect and serve the rich white and biggoted. The Conservatives can't stand thier world changing and equal peices of the pie going to minorities and women and other such vermin. They are so scared of the big bad new world it is hillarious. A world they can no longer control and push around anymore. All of a sudden terrorists are super human beings that cannot be handled morally or legally and giving our tax dollars to any effort but war and corporations who supply our necessities are a waste.
In a few years what was once a majority will dwindle to a minority and they will know the pressure that comes from the larger group that may not beleive they were born into an "accepetable" culture and religion.
They will have to fight for accepetance and fair treatment and they are scared stiff because they know how they treated those once in their place.
They are the ugly Americans who represent the worst of people and do this country the most harm and diservice. They belittle education, knowledge, science and believe actual intelligence is an "elitist" trait. Brains has always won in the whole history of this world and that is something these GOP'ers have forgotton.

Rove would probably feel comfortable in a tunnel. Most vermin do.
