Today on "The View" moderator Whoopi Goldberg brought up how NBC rejected PETA's new commercial for being too racy.
Wanting to discuss the ad, Whoopi was also not allowed to air the spot on ABC. Instead, she took a moment to show viewers what the ad consisted of, bringing out a basket of cabbage and broccoli and showing it her love.

I would say the ad was 'suggestive,' but not even close to 'sexy.'

Gotta love the Whoop! I've been having a kick watching old Whoopie movies on you tube lately and it came to me last night that she is such an iconic part of what America is. We've seen her through the decades and she's changed along with us, but she's done it on the big screen and she reflects back to us the changes we've gone through. She has entertained us with dramas. She's warmed our hearts. She's made us think. But most of all, she's made us laugh and she's inspired us to be kinder, better people than we might have been. Hats off to Whoopie Goldberg!
