I Like ItI Don’t Like It

Dressing for your first week of work is much like dressing for the first week of school: it matters. While the new president remained formal during the day--he did, however, dare to remove his jacket in the Oval Office--he decreed weekends in the White House would be business casual, opting to wear slacks and a gray sweater over a white buttoned-down shirt when he showed up for work on Saturday.

He's got his jacket off in the Oval office in the middle of winter?

I thought he said we couldn't keep out thermostats at 72 degrees?

Just another Global Warming Hypocrite!

and just how do you know what the thermostat is set at? Have you been inside the Oval office?

According to reports, he keeps it at eighty.

But if it were lower than 72 (as he recommended for everyone) it would be too cold without a jacket. Especially for a guy that grew up in Hawaii.

So Bush was better at confronting global warming because he wore a suit jacket in the White House, although he silenced his scientists. Well, I would rather have a competent, visionary guy without a jacket, than a man-child, ideologue like Bush who wears a suit jacket.

I'm waiting for him to grow his hair out. I think a 'fro in the White House would be just stunning.

OR it would perpetuate stereotypes of African Americans.

Has anyone noticed that he's still wearing the bracelet the soldier's mom gave him in the primary (photo seven).

President Obama is an honorable man.

He has to. Because if he's ever asked again what the name of the soldier is, he can look down and read it off again, like he did in the debates.

So does he ALWAYS have to wear the flag pin? Is it gonna be controversial if he forgets to put it on one day? Let's hope not or else our president will hear about it again... :-o

Yeah and doesn't he know it. Not that its a bad thing. Confidence is part of his esoteric appeal. President Obama has a swagger that screams "I am all that". (Pardon my slang.)

He's a good looking man, no doubt but how is wearing a suit any more stylish than the next guy?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 05:20 PM on 01/30/2009

By virtue of the fact that he is such a good looking man. ;) Oh, and a President...

The next guy doesn't bring all that he's about with his suit. It's never about a piece of material, it's about who's wearing it.
