Pelosi Ignores Limbaugh: "I Don't Speak To That" (VIDEO)

At a press conference, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi proudly touted the stimulus package passed by the House without Republican support. Asked about Rush Limbaugh and Matt Drudge's campaigning against the plan, she responded, "I don't speak to that. I am the Speaker of the House. I don't get into that," she responded. Watch:

As for bipartisanship, the Speaker said, "I didn't come here to be partisan, I didn't come here to be bipartisan. I came here, as did my colleagues, to be nonpartisan, to work for the American people, to do what is in their interest."

Rush is a coward....­faces nobody ! Hides behind the golden mic...and cuts down people that he isn't even worthy of kissing their feet. But what would the republican party do without him...they are even bigger cowards than him....! Being against america and it's people is easier when you have an ape like Limbaugh egging you on. I give Nancy some credit here! She pushed through the stimulus plan as her first priority, although it had complete support in the House. And there have been other good things in her tenure.

However, I am still angry with her about taking impeachment "off the table"! She let us down!

Rush Limbaugh could see a deal with prosecutors in a long-running prescription fraud case collapse after authorities found a bottle of Viagra in his bag at Palm Beach International Airport. The prescription was not in his name.

I'm not a Pelosi fan, but I do give her credit for this. Her responding to Rush Pillpopping Limbaugh only validates him, and as Speaker of the House it would be beneath the stature of her position. Good job, Nancy.

Nancy - The Loser - is a HORRIBLE Speaker and even WORSE representative of the interests of her district. The ONLY reason she sailed through the last election cycle is that San Franciscans either didn't know of any competition (Cindy Sheehan) or because they felt that there is value somehow to having your representative be Speaker - though none have ever provided a modicum of evidence to support the view - while a few people said it was because they didn't like the idea of taking out the Speaker during the last cycle where we weren't yet through with Bush...

All in all, _all_ Progressives should seek her removal as Speaker and the best way to do that is to help her competition beat her in the next cycle - the '10 election.

While I don't much care for Pelosi, I care even less for Limbaugh. It is appropriate for everyone to ignore the big bag of wind. The sound of his voice is even more grating than that of the ex pres and his morals and hatred of America are equal.

Pelosi led the House in passing a massive piece of legislation a week after inauguration. She deserves credit.

The House Republicans decided to oppose the bill no matter what was in it (stating so publicly before even meeting with Obama). You are blaming her for that? Nice try.

Rush has a loyal group of ditto heads. His popularity was thought to be in trouble when Republicans took the white house. His strength comes from being with the party out of power.
The democrats are strengthening Rush every day by paying attention to him.
