"House Of Style" To Make A Comeback (VIDEO)

Great news for '90s nostalgia: "House of Style" may return, reports Page Six:

The popular '90s show about fashion and design, which helped make a household name of original host Cindy Crawford, is being revived by MTV, says a source close to production. Contracts are out to Leonardo DiCaprio's girlfriend Bar Refaeli and recent Page Six Magazine covergirl Chanel Iman to host, though neither has officially signed on yet.

Well, that was certainly an appropo decision. We are in a state of economic collapse and Cindy Crawford is going to wave uber expensive designer clothes in everyone's faces with the usual pretentious twaddle that designers and modes are fond of bandying about. Let them eat $2000 ensembles, I guess.

OMG! I loved that show. That show taught me how to use toothpaste to dry up zits, taught me how to use white eyeliner underneath the eyebrow and on the crease to open up the eyes. I still use all those tips.

I guess MTV came full circle and skipped right over music in the process. They've been around so long they are rehashing their old lineup because they have run out of ideas. Odd that they didn't bring back the Music.

Seems that at Music Television, it's about everything but the music. Shame. Even YouTube pwns MTV.com, MTV broadcast and the extended MTV network in general, in the amount of music videos played.
