Jonas Brothers Talk About White House Performance

January 30, 2009 (Los Angeles, CA)-- ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT spoke with Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas at an event benefiting the Diabetes Center at Children's Hospital Los Angeles last night for a new interview to air tonight, January 30th.

On performing at the invitation-only diabetes benefit, Nick, who is very outspoken about his own experience with diabetes says, "It's something very personal to me and close to my heart, so we're happy to do it." Nick tells ET he does not take shots, but wears an insulin pump and also keeps candy nearby in case his blood sugar ever goes low during a concert."

The brothers tell ET about surprising the Obama girls at the White House, "We had an amazing time with the girls," Kevin said. "It was awesome and we had a blast." Joe jokes, "It's a little scary hearing screams in the White House!"

They go on to say that they currently have no plans to return to the White House, but there is one way Sasha and Malia could get them to come back, "We do hope to fly on Air Force One, so if you can make that possible girls," Kevin jokes.

I remember watching the Jonas Brothers for the first time in that music video Burnin' Up. It's amusing that they think that just because they have some black guy in the background that somehow this gives them more credibility when in reality it doesn't. Can we expect purity armbands next?

Jonas Brothers fame will fade as all other young groups. 2012, Malia & Sasha will be into someone else. Especially if the brothers don't change with the times. always the musical aartists downfalls - squabbles or fear of change because what had been working stifles change.

The Jonas Bros are perfect artists for young kids like the Obama girls. They're clean-cut and don't sing about booty, or anything trashy. If I had kids, I'd be thrilled if they were Jonas Bros fans.

I'm curious politically how these boys see things, they are Evangelical Christians, but they could still be Democrats, something about them I like.They are always giving out money to charity, and doing great things for people,they've met the Obama girls 3 or 4 times now. .

I had an impression from some interviews they did last year that they were McCain supporters, but they still wouldn't publicly admit which party they support. I think they are generally Republican.
