Liam Trumps Mall Cop: "Taken" #1

LOS ANGELES — Liam Neeson took down "Paul Blart: Mall Cop" with his CIA thriller "Taken," which topped the box office with $24.7 million on its opening weekend.

But Kevin James' slapstick comedy about a mall security guard, which easily held down the box office for two straight weekends, stayed strong in second with $13.8 million.
