Michelle Obama Recycles Her Jimmy Choos

Update: Commenters have correctly pointed out that the kitten heels worn by the First Lady at the Kids' Inaugural are not the same pair she wore at the inauguration and on January 30th. Our bad!

When Michelle Obama likes something, she, like any sensible and normal woman, wears it over and over and over. Such was the case with the green Jimmy Choo 'Glacier' heels she wore to the inauguration; it turns out she wore them at least two times in eleven days. See if you can guess the occasion below.

Even if they were the same pair of shoes, so what. For as much as they cost, you had better hope you don't see them every day. I think that's cool that she's a down to earth First Lady. She doesn't mind you knowing that she hasn't forgotten where she comes from. She doesn't have to put on airs. She's awesome.

Holy hell. Even if they were the same pair of shoes, it's perfectly acceptable­, even expected that Michelle would find multiple opportunit­ies to wear them. Anyone who paid perfectly good money for shoes like that would "recycle" them rather than toss them out after one wearing, I would hope.

I mean seriously. "OMG! Michelle Obama wore the same shoes TWICE in ELEVEN DAYS!" I see people every day who wear the same clothes for a week (ewwww).

It is clear to anyone that looks at the pictures that the FL is wearing 2 different pairs of shoes, and I don’t think that Jimmy Choo is the designer of both pairs.

HuffPo’s “Style” section would be a lot better if actual stylists/f­ashion designers/­fashion editors posted engaging articles on the industry that arouse intelligen­t discussion­.

That's what I love about her. She keeps it real and does fold under the pressure of public opinion. Especially about clothing and how many times it has been worn. Who came up with that suggestion that you should only wear it once when your in the public eye. False and misleading­.

EXACTLY...­.. Correct!! The editors or wannabe journalist need to do more research or pit the contact lenses back in!

This article is a "grasp" for a storyline and in not worthy to be on this or any website, definitely not the NEWS WIRES!

SHOES IN PHOTOS ! and @ are not the SAME as SHOES IN 3, 4, 5 and 6!!

And even if they were its ok to wear the same shoes more than once, the First Lady's name is MICHELLE. NOT Cindy, Imelda or Marie-Anto­inette!!!

The first pair of shoes shown were kitten heels while the second pair were at least 2 1/2 inch heels. Hence they were two entirely different pairs of shoes. I don't know who made this call, but they were wrong. Michelle Obama did a repeat of the 2 1/2 inch heels, yes, but she did not wear those same shoes to the Kids Inaugural concert.

Not just that - but the kitten heeled shoes were pointy toed, while the higher heels were rounded . . . I'm also not convinced they were even the same color.
