That would explain WHY the last time I attempted to refill my prescription for an anti-convulsant medication (that is also used to treat anxiety)... I was informed by the pharmacist that I had to pick it up on THE refill date rather than getting it two days earlier prior to my roommate going out of town. I have previously been on this same medication prior to being on Medicaid and NEVER was required to get my refill on THE refill date. IN FACT... because I traveled extensively for work and was out of state for AT LEAST a week at a time... I VERY FREQUENTLY obtained refills prior to THE refill date WITHOUT QUESTION. And YET... I was informed by the pharmacist that this has ALWAYS been standard procedure and has NOTHING to do with with my now being on Medicaid! Given that I am now 100% disabled, largely bedridden, require a wheelchair for any lengthy outings, spent OVER two months to obtain paratransit services, and was ALSO DENIED assistance from Home Help care IN SPITE of being referred by the hospital for it last MAY... and now being in WORSE condition than many people who are in in-patient rehabilitation or assisted living facilities (and I KNOW this because I used to WORK in them!)... I would say the State of IL and the Dept. of Human Services are in a REAL mess! Yep... I'll be talkin' to my state reps about THIS!!!

What relative of Blago's was hired to run the warehouse? Were they drugs from Canada as arranged by Blago? Seems the Blagos and extended family members all left jobs in December and January. How convenient.

This is almost nothing compared to what nursing homes put in the trash haulers truck. Incredible amounts of drugs are wasted. Pharmacy companies will not take them back after they are dispensed and we are not able to use them for another resident. You paid fo it .......Medicaid gone bust? What a waste. Pharmaceutical companies just want to sell more drugs, and goverment supports this.
