GOP Leader Using Obama's Words Against Dems

Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) invoked the words of President Obama on Monday to pressure Democratic leaders into accepting an alterative version of the economic stimulus package.

The Republican leader sought to use the president's words as a way to win over uncommitted Republicans and Democrats who are not yet sold on the nearly $890 billion plan being debated this week in the chamber.
