Joe The Plumber To Talk Strategy With Luckless Conservatives

I Like ItI Don’t Like It

Gah, this guy again. Samuel J. "Joe the 'Plumber'" Wurzelbacher, freshly returned from bankrupting Pajamas Media with his "I Don't Know, Maybe Journalists Should Shut Up, Or Something" tour of Israel, is now going to be meeting with the Conservative Working Group, making working for the Conservative Working Group the worst possible job anyone could have this week.

Hilariously, the people who serve on the Conservative Working Group don't seem to want to do much Conservative Working, since Joe's appearance is billed as an incentive to keep everyone from sleeping in:

If nothing else, GOP aides are using the appearance to get staffers to attend the 9 a.m meeting.

"In case you weren't planning to attend CWG tomorrow morning, you might want to reconsider because Joe the Plumber will be joining us!" Kimberly Wallner, an aide to South Carolina Sen. Jim DeMint, wrote in a message to her e-mail list this afternoon.

Anyway, we are told that Joe is not a "fan of the economic rescue package," so, woo: there's some real high-wire opinioneering, right there. He'll probably say that the media shouldn't talk about the economy any more, or math, and that maybe Paul Krugman should do more to help people with their digital TV conversions.

Anyway, how dull is this guy? Consider this. The article that reports this news in Politico begins with the sentence, "Fresh off his stint as a war correspondent in Gaza, Joe the Plumber is now doing political strategy with Republicans," and ends with the sentence, "Last month, Wurzelbacher did a brief stint as a war reporter for the conservative web site pjtv.com." Normally, you'd wonder where the editor was, allowing the double mention of "stint," but your eyes just glaze over, thinking about this guy.

Gah, this guy again. Samuel J. "Joe the 'Plumber'" Wurzelbacher, freshly returned from bankrupting Pajamas Media with his "I Don't Know, Maybe Journalists Should Shut Up, Or Something" tour of Israel...

Joe the Plumber (not named Joe and not a Plumber) has hired Sarah Palin's de-witching minister to do seances with Torquenada and the prosecutors responsible for the Salem Witch Trials so he can really refine and direct the know-nothingism advice he gives to Senate Republicans. Sarah gets dewitched by those witch trial prosecutors too.

Their message is cut taxes for the wealthy.

The trend that I see in the GOP is to milk all that they can get from a Gump who is a political armature at best and an unaccomplished plumber running an illegal business at worst. This trend has actually contributed to the downfall of the GOP since 2006 and if they want to continue actually using am mature strategists they are going to stay down, they just don't learn don't they?

We're talking about the party that worries about "nukular" weapons, doesn't recognize that "Democrat" is a noun, not an adjective, and thinks that being able to see Russia from one's shores gives one foreign policy credentials ... JTP fits right in (plus, there's probably enough lead in his head to keep him up and running in the event of a nukular strike).

Joe, it's over.
You were replaced by a TRUE American working hero named Sully Sullenberger, who saved over 100 lives under the most extraordinary circumstances and was MODEST and thoughtful about it.

Palin should probably be first, because she can't discuss any serious topic.

Sam ( I can't call him Joe because that's not his name) is second. Hey I wonder if he ever paid his child support and if his parents are living in his house because he was going to lose it.?

Another person that McCain let out of a bottle and no one can put him or Palin back.

Right Wingers are beating us 100 to 1 on Capital Hill

The word on the street here in Washington is that the right is killing us with phone calls to Congress on the Obama economic recovery plan.

Those who worked for the election of Obama and are currently sitting on the sidelines waiting to see how his economic recovery bill turns out"it"s time to stop waiting. Stand up and fight!

Call 202-224-3121 (or use the toll-free service at 866-544-7573). Ask the operator to transfer you to one of your state"s senators. When connected, urge your senator to support the Obama economic recovery plan. Call back and repeat for your other senator.

Here"s what"s at stake. If enacted, President Obama"s economic recovery plan will be the biggest and boldest progressive legislation in the past 40 years. These are just some of the highlights:

$142 billion for a middle-class tax cut

$47 billion to extend unemployment benefits

$16 billion to expand food stamps

$17 billion in one-time payments to low-income Americans

$26 billion to expand access to health care

$87 billion to help states pay for Medicaid

$24 billion to modernize health information technology

$46 billion to fix bridges and roads

$80 billion to improve public education

$19 billion for school construction

$14 billion to make college more affordable

$32 billion for clean energy

Economic recovery? spending atrillion dollars you don't have on top of the trillion already spent. This boldest progressive spending could very well bankrupt USA and send the rest of the world into a depression. Is BHO willing to risk this and go down in history as a well intended failure? I hope he would spend alittle more time on his pork bill than he has on his nominees.

So what idea do you have to offer? I know of many unemployed people whose checks are running out, and they won't have money to feed, buy clothing, provide medical care for their children. How about the billions we wasted in Iraq that got us into this economic mess, do you justify that? Funny but all the Republicans in Congress voted for everything Bush wanted with no one complaining. Did you complain then?

I for one am sick and tired of people like you, who think they know everything and really know nothing, except to write posts such as your. ( Now I feel better)

I love this. Do all of us thinking Democrats and Independents a favor, Republicans. Take all Joe's advice. Run Sarah Palin in 2012. Run Jeb Bush. Keep your heads in the sand and nail the lid to your coffin firmly down.

I am so happy that the republicans party decided to finally get some good advice or counseling , this will only help in putting the final nail in their coffin.

Priceless! Between Rush and Plumber, who neither have more than a high school education, they preach to those who must have LESS education. Oh, and Sarah Palin, beauty fades but stupid lasts forever!

I miss the honeymoon period when he made comments to the effect of not wanting to say anything regarding the election. That lasted a day or so if I recall correctly. I think he currently serves as an excellent metaphor for the both the GOP rank-and-file mindset and the international community's perception of the, well, "Average Joe". I mean, journalists shouldn't report on war, right? We should just let the government run the media eh?

If Tim Geithner had a problem because he didn't pay his taxes, how come Sam the Fake is exempt?

Oh, who am I kidding. I WANT them to take his advice.

Rush lost his job of advising the GOP to JOE!!!!!!
I can see his advice giving now...these people are idiots. No plumbers license and no education to be a motivator.
