Joe The Plumber To Talk Strategy With Luckless Conservatives

I Like ItI Don’t Like It

Gah, this guy again. Samuel J. "Joe the 'Plumber'" Wurzelbacher, freshly returned from bankrupting Pajamas Media with his "I Don't Know, Maybe Journalists Should Shut Up, Or Something" tour of Israel, is now going to be meeting with the Conservative Working Group, making working for the Conservative Working Group the worst possible job anyone could have this week.

Hilariously, the people who serve on the Conservative Working Group don't seem to want to do much Conservative Working, since Joe's appearance is billed as an incentive to keep everyone from sleeping in:

If nothing else, GOP aides are using the appearance to get staffers to attend the 9 a.m meeting.

"In case you weren't planning to attend CWG tomorrow morning, you might want to reconsider because Joe the Plumber will be joining us!" Kimberly Wallner, an aide to South Carolina Sen. Jim DeMint, wrote in a message to her e-mail list this afternoon.

Anyway, we are told that Joe is not a "fan of the economic rescue package," so, woo: there's some real high-wire opinioneering, right there. He'll probably say that the media shouldn't talk about the economy any more, or math, and that maybe Paul Krugman should do more to help people with their digital TV conversions.

Anyway, how dull is this guy? Consider this. The article that reports this news in Politico begins with the sentence, "Fresh off his stint as a war correspondent in Gaza, Joe the Plumber is now doing political strategy with Republicans," and ends with the sentence, "Last month, Wurzelbacher did a brief stint as a war reporter for the conservative web site pjtv.com." Normally, you'd wonder where the editor was, allowing the double mention of "stint," but your eyes just glaze over, thinking about this guy.

Gah, this guy again. Samuel J. "Joe the 'Plumber'" Wurzelbacher, freshly returned from bankrupting Pajamas Media with his "I Don't Know, Maybe Journalists Should Shut Up, Or Something" tour of Israel...

The only thing this guy should be consulting with is a toilet and I doubt he has the expertise to do that well.

The Republicans are working with Sarah Palin, Rush LImbaugh and now, Joe the Plumber. And after breaking the economy like a bull in a china shop, they wonder why most people think they are irrelavant.

I think prog is right: The Republican party is looking more and more like a gigantic episode of Hee Haw.

LOL...please let this be true....please, please, please. And after this maybe advising Sassy Sarah as she readies for the next campaign for president. This is who really represents the "base" of the GOP and I couldn't be happier.

Now team him up with David Duke. Onward through the fog!!

Mr McCain let this cat out of the bag now the cat's loose in the house and it's owner (Mr McCain) is nowhere to be found.

Between J the P's book deal, website, forum, war corresponding, possible record deal and now this "leading the Republican party" deal you wonder where our plumber finds the time to .. plumb.
Fix pipes and stuff. Maybe JTP does all that real work nonsense after hours since Obama's socialist take-over plans apparently keep Joseph up all night worrying about his $250,000/year salary getting taxed.

It's too bad HeeHaw is no longer on the air. He'd have a permanent home.

Hee Haw was a comedy/variety show meant as entertainment, not to be taken seriously.

The Republican Party, well...

JTP advising the Republican Party? If this doesn't spell doom, I don't know what does!

Good grief, I can't stop laughing at how ridiculous the Republicans have become.

The Republicans are really on the roll: First they yield their voice to the most divisive and destructive person on the planet, Rush Limbaugh. Then, they elect Michael Steele as their RNC Chair because they believe that by putting a black face on their party, they will somehow convince us that they're now inclusive and that they have their own version of Barack Obama. After electing Steele and boasting of their FIRST BLACK REPUBLICAN CHAIRPERSON, the Republican base declares that they want their party to be more like Sarah Palin, the same person who used race and fear-mongering throughout her campaign to undermine President Obama because of the color of his skin. Meanwhile, David Duke is threatening to destroy the Republican Party because they elected a black man to head the RNC. And now, along comes Joe the Plumber to give them advice!

I don't think even the Republicans know who they are anymore!

They're like the dog chasing a car: even if he caught it, he wouldn't know what to do with it. Their entire party is in serious melt-down mode. They're trying to swim against the tide and thrashing about for something concrete to hold on to. The spectacle is pathetic and mildly amusing. If it weren't for the near fatal damage they've done to this country, I would be much happier listening to their death rattle.

I know what my dog would do if he "caught" a car:

Pee on it!

This guy likely is no more skilled holding a plunger, than he is with a microphone.

He really belongs in a traveling carnival, billed as "Joe the chameleon".
