Joe The Plumber To Talk Strategy With Luckless Conservatives

I Like ItI Don’t Like It

Gah, this guy again. Samuel J. "Joe the 'Plumber'" Wurzelbacher, freshly returned from bankrupting Pajamas Media with his "I Don't Know, Maybe Journalists Should Shut Up, Or Something" tour of Israel, is now going to be meeting with the Conservative Working Group, making working for the Conservative Working Group the worst possible job anyone could have this week.

Hilariously, the people who serve on the Conservative Working Group don't seem to want to do much Conservative Working, since Joe's appearance is billed as an incentive to keep everyone from sleeping in:

If nothing else, GOP aides are using the appearance to get staffers to attend the 9 a.m meeting.

"In case you weren't planning to attend CWG tomorrow morning, you might want to reconsider because Joe the Plumber will be joining us!" Kimberly Wallner, an aide to South Carolina Sen. Jim DeMint, wrote in a message to her e-mail list this afternoon.

Anyway, we are told that Joe is not a "fan of the economic rescue package," so, woo: there's some real high-wire opinioneering, right there. He'll probably say that the media shouldn't talk about the economy any more, or math, and that maybe Paul Krugman should do more to help people with their digital TV conversions.

Anyway, how dull is this guy? Consider this. The article that reports this news in Politico begins with the sentence, "Fresh off his stint as a war correspondent in Gaza, Joe the Plumber is now doing political strategy with Republicans," and ends with the sentence, "Last month, Wurzelbacher did a brief stint as a war reporter for the conservative web site pjtv.com." Normally, you'd wonder where the editor was, allowing the double mention of "stint," but your eyes just glaze over, thinking about this guy.

Gah, this guy again. Samuel J. "Joe the 'Plumber'" Wurzelbacher, freshly returned from bankrupting Pajamas Media with his "I Don't Know, Maybe Journalists Should Shut Up, Or Something" tour of Israel...

Palin, Joe the Plumber? And you still want to be a Republican? Very Sad.

joe's "people" force anyone who wants to interview him to sign an agreement that he will not be ridiculed. On Thom Hartmann's show last week they got around this by only asking him plumbing questions-some of which he answered incorrectly...

The Republicans are ridiculous. First: They elect mike steele as their chairman, and then david duke and the B I G O T S in the party get pissed an call him a racist. Second: A poll comes out and says that a majority of republicans want the party to be more like Palin, and to go further to the right. Third: Now Joe the Plumber is a republican consultant, and they are taking his advise. LOL The party is falling apart !

Joe the Plumber's Assistant is a scourge, for sure, but won't anyone miss him when he's gone? I will. http://hateonme.com/

When you stop and think about it,the likes of Rush Limbaugh,
Sean Hannity, and Bill O'Reilly were given their own shows, to spew
their own views, which they use to show us each day how ignorant they are.
Still, there are always plenty who take their every rant as "factual".

Why should an aspiring plumber-strategist surprise us?

This is beautiful.
So far the "new" and "improved" GOP leadership is turning out to be a confused ensemble of,
1. Steele - the RNC leadership that will easily alienate a good portion of the hard core GOPers based on color alone,
2. Palin - ignorance over substance, enough scandals on the back burner to make any GOPer proud, and the tact to make even McCain blush
3. Joe the schmoe - the man literally knows nothing about nothing and offers his opinions as if they should stand next to credible, intelligent, well-thought out, logical, productive ideas even though it's mindless rhetoric and useless (so of course the die hard GOPers love it)

I guess Christmas keeps coming for the Dems over and over again.

Yet again, a highly misleading headline on HuffPo. Here's the skinny folks:

A) Joe is not and never was a plumber. He was a plumber's assistant. Its high time we use an accurate title for this guy.

B) Joe is not "advising" anyone. He is there as a publicity stunt designed solely to get butts in the seats.

Now that we have that clarified, can we all please get on with the not-so-difficult work of ignoring this joker until he fades back into the masses where he belongs?

He wanted to buy a business, but he could not, courtesy of President Obama, whose socialist policies prevented him from because of the enormous increase of taxation.

While I don't care for the guy, as he is a opportunist. Overall, Old Joe could no worse than the other's, hell let him have his fifteen mintues. He just demostrates how goofing the republicians still are.

First the majority of pubs polled say they think their party should be "more like Sarah Palin", and now they are taking strategy meetings with Joe the fake plumber. Do the pubs realize how happy they are making the Democrats? Things just keep looking better and better.
