I Like ItI Don’t Like It

Broadcasters are bracing themselves for the likelihood of three prime-time interruptions in three weeks, totaling at least three hours of prime time -- and ad breaks -- yanked.

"His economic stimulus package apparently does not extend to the TV networks," one network exec noted

Obama should be on every night during the prime time evening news.

Why don't we let Bank of America be the sponsor? Don't "we the people" own a part of them now?

I think I would rather see what the President has to say than anything the networks would show otherwise.

What the "Conservative Media" (See, we can use flagrantly untrue rhetoric, too!) truely doesn't like is the fact the President Obama is taking his message DIRECTLY to the American people, rather than letting it be mis-stated and misconstrued by a bunch of reich wing talking heads.

Good job Obama!

It is so funny that after having a fake President who NEVER talked to the people in fact IGNORED us the Media is trying to make Obama look BAD for being upfront and Open with us.

Never forget who owns the media. They do not want us to know ANYTHING!

By Obama talking directly to us he ELIMINATES their powers to distort .and lie and mislead us all.

BRILLIANT

Americans can't lose sight of the fact that on world wide ratings on freedom of the press the U.S. ranks 43rd which puts them below some 3rd world countries in this category.

If you want real honest news you have to watch the Daily Show with Jon Stewart or foreign news casts as the U.S. main stream medias are biased and hide the real truths from the public. Just look at how they all promoted the invasion of Iraq and where that has landed the country.

They use our airwaves for free costing us Billions each year. They have some nerve complaining about the President of the United States using OUR airwaves to talk to US. Disgusting level of entitlement.

We, the people, own the airwaves that the networks use to make their money. Why does air time cost millions when in fact there is little useful produced with advertising. That cost is passed on in prices for good that we would otherwise buy anyway at cheaper prices.

Ads just sell useless things like IPods. When you have run out of money and the IPod, or useless other electronic device sets there while you have nothing to eat, try eating your IPod, or all the rest of the useless junk advertising has brought you.

The networks need to just shut up and do a better job of using the airwaves for the public good.

These TV Execs must think we give a darn about them losing advertising money. We could live better without MSM's propoganda being repeated verbatim every half-hour till it make ones' ears start ringing.
I laugh everytime I hear a Republican refer to MSM as "liberal". They do what their REPUBLICAN owers tell them to do.

I for one am fed up with the whinning of rich people. If they can't make enough dough to satisfy their cravings then "let'em eat cake". I DON'T CARE.

Excuse me, The airways belong to the American People. The T.V. Stations/big media pay for the privilege to use them. The corporate media has a responsibility to report the news not give us some trite opinion.
Alas they do not give us the news, they give us some watered down newstainment. The corporate media wants to keep America dumbed down so they can control public opinion. The contracts that were signed with the Bush Administration are not of true value and the American people are getting ripped again....Maybe we should take away their licenses and give some other group a chance to use the airways responsibility.Damn this is getting absurd.
