Ann Coulter Under Investigation For Voter Fraud

The New York Daily News reports that Ann Coulter is under investigation by the Connecticut Elections Enforcement Commission for allegedly voting in that state while registered to vote in New York City.

Officials are responding to a formal complaint filed by Coulterwatch.com blogger Dan Borchers. "For over 10 years, Ann Coulter has gotten away with illegal, immoral and unethical behavior, ranging from plagiarism to defamation, perjury to voter fraud," claims the conservative Borchers. Coulter declined to comment, but in the past has branded Borchers a stalker. He says the FBI has determined he poses no threat.

Coulter was investigated and cleared of wrongdoing in 2006 for allegedly violating Florida's voter registration laws by voting in the wrong precinct.

But Brad Friedman of BradBlog.com reports that Coulter was never actually cleared; the Florida Election Commission dropped the case after deciding that the two-year statute of limitations had run out.

An official previously told the Daily News that they would investigate "if we received a complaint under oath." Read more about Daniel Borchers, who filed the complaint, here.

Ann Coulter will one day jump the shark completely and end up in a mental health facility somewhere. It's not too far off, given her recent diatribes.

Aww... the crowds outside are losing interest. Poor babies, now I would like to let all readers know that jail is not going to happen in this case. If she plays hardball she may end up in jail, but that's just a bunch of losers running around trying to figure out a way to become famous.

She should be under investigation just for being a fraud.

Amen to that!

What? She's not in jail yet? How long does this have to take?

Coulterwatch? Are you kidding me? Why do people go out of their way to give credibility to someone where none is due. Also after reading about Borchers, I'm not sure who is scarier, him or Coulter.

Tim Robbins went through a similar situation. He had been voting in a district where he wasn't registered. He had moved and voted at his new precinct while he was still registered at his old precinct.

No, sorry. That's not what happened. Tim Robbins has voted in NYCity since 1976. Last fall he did have a "problem" voting in the presidential election, a problem that was nothing he did, but certainly looks like Democrat-purging by an official. He sent a funny, angry letter about it to at least 8 NYCity election offiicials and also to HuffPost. (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/tim-robbins/an-open-letter-from-tim-r_b_144377.html)
Here's part of his letter to Soumas, slightly edited:
"...my local 14th St. poll worker, Betty J. Williamson's assertion (is) that my name was on the active voter rolls for the primary in September of this year [2008] .... And why would anyone in the Board of Elections be eliminating legitimate voters from the rolls in late September and October of 2008? That's just crazy and un-democratic.
Justice Paul G. Feinman issued a court order on Election Day allowing me to vote on 14th St. He apparently thought that a printed out record from your own Board of Elections computer verifying my polling place as 14th St was justification for issuing the court order. If he had only thought to contact you, you could have helped him understand the logic and wisdom of eliminating my name from the book on 14th St. where I have always voted and leaving my name registered at a place I have never voted."

I wonder if some one is going to write a book with the statement "See a white collar criminal, blame a traditional family." If she does actually get prosecuted I wonder what that does to her theory of crime being the fault of single mother parents.

You go ... you hit the nail on the head.

Do you think her readers will be entitled to a refund?

Can she do a recall?

If the Republicans had gotten their way and privatized Social Security, almost all of our senior citizens would now be destitute and without any chance of recovery. And now these geniuses want us to believe that after 8 years of plunder, they have the answers we need to repair our economy and regain our integrity - Not in my life time!

Personally I think that she should be sentenced to 200 hours of community service at the Patrick Henry Democratic Club of America, muzzled.
