I'm On A Boat: SNL Digital Short (VIDEO)

T-Pain, Andy Samberg and Akiva Schaffer hit the open waters this week for an SNL digital short. "I'm on a Boat" is a track off Lonely Island's upcoming album.

Lonely Island (aka the group of men behind SNL's digital shorts) is releasing "Incredibad" on February 10. The album features artists like Norah Jones, Natalie Portman, and Jack Black, and SNL hits such as "Dick in a Box" and "Natalie Raps."

i can't believe how many people do not find this song and video hilarious. It is unbelievably hysterical. every time i watch it i hear stuff i missed and it gets so much better. it is the funniest thing i have seen in quite some time.

I dig most of what Andy Samberg and Co. do, but this one got on my nerves. The whole "I'm a white guy acting all g thug" is extremely tired. I'd expect to see something like this more on Mad TV than SNL, and I mean that as a pretty big insult.

Kind of style over content. The Lonely Island is usually either really funny or at least really naughty to the point of laughter, but this is just production values. Be careful guys, there are sharks behind your boat and you don't want to jump them just yet...

This guy should not be encouraged. Who thinks this is funny? There's no depth here. Is it even still clever to poke fun at bad mainstream rap videos?

Oh and Coco51, why did you go through the trouble of saying it's a "spoof on every BLACK rapper's "boat" video. Clearly race has nothing to do with wanting to look like a self absorbed mutant on a boat video. This video is proof of that.

No, I don't have to admit they produce really solid tunes hehe. And yes, I think the very definition of satire requires there to be at least an ounce of wit or keen insight into the subject.
This dude clearly wanted to make a video where he and his boys rap while hiding behind the security of it being only a "comedy."

I think this guy is funny.
Not sure my husband should meet me at the airport with his dickinabox anymore though. Sure lady deplaning behind me, it was funny for you, but it was a little embarrassing that the old guy standing there with the box that he wasn't holding onto was waiting for me. I guess can laugh now though.

I thought that was hilarious!! it was a good spoof on every black rapper's "boat" video. Same b..s champagne, helicopter and half-naked women all posing in some fashion as if they are Leo on "the boat." only this time, it's one black woman, one black and two white guys.
