Cornyn Skipped Stimulus Vote To Meet With GOP Donors In New York

Glenn Thrush says the question from the Senate floor this evening was "where was Cornyn," as the Texas Republican was the only senator to miss the crucial cloture vote on the stimulus package.

The answer: He was at a New York gathering of prominent media conservatives and Wall Street Republican donors called the Monday Meeting, held at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Midtown Manhattan.

Who needs Senator Cornyn anyway, I hope he loses his election. He should have been voting for the bill, if Senator Kennedy came from a sickbed, dear Cornyn should have just let his donors send him the money though Citibank.

Kennedy gets out of his sick bed to come to vote on a bill that will help the american people and Cronyon goes to new york to get money from the fat cats for his up coming campaign for re-election. And the sad thing about this is , the people of his state will re-elect him. Their must be a lot of uneducated people in his state. He doesn't car about them or this country. He just wants be sure he gets re-elected so he can continue to make under the table deals, and line his pockets. He hasn't realized that he won't be able to do this as easily as it has been done in washington. PRESIDENT OBAMA and his attorney general will top these crooks at ever junction.

He's such a butt. I sent him a letter last year requesting that the people they has in custody in prisons be given some rights to defend themselves.

His response was that while I was asking for "rights for terrorists", he was perfectly happy with the way things were.

I think this person is saying that if your senator or congressman (let's call him "Cornyn") obstructed this stimulus package or failed to vote at all, then the people of that state should air their grievances to Cornyn. People need to start taking full advantage of their rights to kick people like this d-bag out of office.

I did. I will work very hard for his non election to the Senate or anywhere else he thinks he is going. I learned about activisim in this last campaign and I intend to use it!
